I have got to get better at moving produced works into their proper posting folders >_<
ANYWAY!
First; alien pets for alien people
The Feathered Tree Grut
Tree gruts are arboreal frugivores native to the equatorial rainforests of Gzeh. They are one of only few hexapodal mammals found in the area, and posess a bright skin tone, with crested tail tip that resembles the structure and density of a feather.
Their bright coloring is thought to have evolved as defensive mimicry of another hexpodal creature found in the equatorial regions of Gzeh, the Crested Sandloper, which, unlike the tree grut, is poisonous, and is thus avoided by most preators.
No larger than an average house cat, tree gruts are favored companion animals, as they are highly social and bond easily with their care-givers. With good care, a tree grut can grow to become 15 years old, sometimes even older.
*This week featured a lot of good suggestions, so grats to AntiCarrot for prompting this one.

Next we have something really fancily rendered, which is gonna give all those 40k purists a hernia :b
A discord server I sit around on prompted the idea of what an Age of Sigmar-ified 40k Universe would look like. For those uninitiated, Age of Sigmar is the "reboot" of Warhammer Fantasy from ~a decade ago, which saw all the major factions divided into coalitions of Order, Chaos, Destruction and Death respectively (and upset a LOT of people along the way, but that's a different issue).
So anyway, I figure in a Universe with a 40k alliance of Order, it stands to reason that the Order alliances would cooperate on wargear, and thus an aeldarified space marine was born as a concept and now a bit of actual artwork. I leaned a lot on Igor Sid's codex artwork of the last couple' editions, and the design draws heavily from the updated Avatar of Khaine model, but that's all technicalities I figure you probabl don't care about much.
Anyway, I figured a bunch of resurgent enslavers would do for a worthy adversary of such end times, even if I did oversize the one in the background quite a bit - who knows though? Maybe we've only ever seen juvenile enslavers?
Anyway, while this is a fully rendered piece of work, this is also the native resolution, so I figured I might aswell share it here for a treat for everyone :3

Next a bunch of concepts for another species within Fluffcat's as yet unnamed realm, same as the species.
Based heavily on sneps, we have yet to figure out fur patterning, but we were experimenting with head shapes last time. We also went through some minor permutations on the body, but those just feel like clutter here. The end result (for now) is the female and male bodies you see here.
Thicc tail base, because those are neat.
Then you have one of the pseudo-sneps play-hunting herself a hooman.
Then, briefly, a return to those kobold/lizard folks we concepted last year, this time a fancified sketch of a shaman-like 'bold. The big hat was mandatory, as demanded by Fluff's quality control guild, and I really like the look too. I also put in a lot from a Bestiary Miniatures figurine called the Gourd Seer, which I'm looking to probably get myself just as a painting treat <_<;

Moving on, we get to the big people stuff.
Here we have a bunch of sketches I did for Fluffcat (again), which I could have sworn I had already posted, but it turns out I hadn't, or at least I couldn't find them in the posting history X3
So anyway, first the winning color concept for his giant Gula. He's since gotten some art of her, which turned out pretty damn good too. Check it out on his page ... I think?
Then we have a concept of a Gula sized utility knife with some tribal-lik decorations in the grip, presumable put there by folks who can work at that sort of scale ... for her ... them, as there are more than one ... you get the idea XD
A Gula playfully prodding some hapless guy who caught her interest. Maybe her pet human. Who knows X3
And a Gula having just been woken by a rando. Inspired by real events ... every morning in my bathroom mirror.
Hopping clients a couple' times now;
First RetroInferno having me do another set of Hellcat explorations, this time some shameless paws and maws stuff, which I'm happy to accomodate.
The next one is also for him, or rather a friend of his, with their character getting the Hellcat visual aesthetic treatment. There wasn't a lot to change visually, since the character already leant itself well to the design language, but I'm told the owner loved my adaptations anyway ^^
Next I have one for Piershey, because of course all the macro folks are beginning to track me down now X3 a commission of their character doing typical macro things. I'm not sure where this scene is particularly headed, since this was all the description given to me by P, but given the rest of their gallery content, this could be serious or playful - I'unno.
Closing it up for today and not macro-content, the unholy bastard child of KotaRain wanting to cross a russian Ks23 with the M45D/E from the Halo series. We both loved what became of the idea visually, but near finishing realized that the ejection port would be covered by the slide when you rake it back, so Kota decided it'll be a semi-auto weapon, instead of a pump-action one. I'm deferring to him as to how the mechanism would work specifically XD

That closes out sketch posting for now. I have doodle sessions scheduled and am oping to comlete a couple' things this week, so I should have stuff to post. Feels like something I say a lot though, so :/
