All The Sketches Great And Small

Alright, took my sorry ass long enough to put this together ... sketch post for this month!

First up we have a friend's character having himself a fry up on his very olde kitchen, wood burning stove, hanging herbs, gunnysack and all that. It was a visual inspiration I had at the time and just wanted to get out, so there's not much more to it than hat X3

Next we have another commission by FA's fluffcat of his Charr having a somewhat forecful (but not unwanted) encounter with some skinny hooman at ... uh ... some semi-specific location in the GuildWars universe that I forget the name of. It's apparently some kind of island resort type thing. Anyway, I have very little to add to it at this point X3 fluff is paying me to up the standard with some basic greyscale shading, so expect to see that likely to be completed in August.

Another fluffcat commission, this time of his Asura character Sneedi talking to Benellie and her human about what it is she does for a living. I'm pretty sure this can probably still go up on FA and I'll risk it some time when I feel like it. We've discussed some nsfw images in the future though which very much wont be accepted on FA, because Asura proportions are not consent-shaped.

Next up is a time slot commission for Sandow of his (new?) character Schmuck, having had an encounter with some form of rather hostile space fauna. That in itself wouldn't be so bad, but the amount of damage you can do to synthetic ... things ... before they start being inconvenienced or inoperable is rather extensive, and having an unphased and cheerful attitude while looking like that can be somewhat unnerving to the fleshy ones.
All in all, turned out alright, though I feel it's definitely not one of my stronger sketches. In hindsight, I got too caught up in the process of weathering and tweaking to pay attention to composition and values, but we ran out of time and Sandow was satisfied all the same, so I'm willing to accept it :3

A biker very much in the same vein as my old CoU character Misha. I still have a thing for heavier-than-necessary bike chassis', even though I suck at drawing wheeled vehicles and therefore try to avoid them like the plague XD anywho, thematically I was inspired by Master Boot Record's - IRQ1 Keyboard. They have a unique blend of machine, synth and hard rock/metal sounds and can be found on youTube, so if that's your thing, give them a listen some time.

And lastly we have my experimentation sketches for the Penny fan art from earlier this month. Nothing much to say about these except that you can tell which one ended up making the cut for the final :3
