Bad People, Big Picture

So I had actually hoped to do a big release during this last week of the month, outlining a couple' things I want to do in the future and sharing some art, but I managed to grab some kind of cold on the weekend, and I'm back and forth between the different states that come naturally with such an illness - I'll spare you the details. Don't worry though, it's not a Covid strain.

Anyway, I currently lack the energy to do very big a post, so I'll just share this and a doodle for T1 and then return to the couch and my blanket.

This is, again, part of that side thing I've been putting some energy into to get it out of my head so I can focus on other things again. What we have here is four new characters, all of which have been featured before, though never together like this. 

You'll recognize the arcitic fox from the doodle I shared here a couple' week back. Both the red fox and the fennec have been shown before, and I would hope they're recognizable too (even if I have a few gripes about the red one's look - fix next time). The new one in the bunch is the forward vixen in the chair. Not necessarily new in concept, I just finally managed to put down a look for her - and despite all their varied appearances, this is actually a family portrait :3

Artistically this fought me a little bit. I had major issues getting the proportions right, especially on the faces for the lot of them, which I'm going to accredit to the fact I don't usually do these kinds of static poses, where the faces all have to roughly align in the same direction.

Other than that, as stated above, I was trying to go for that portrait like look. I tried to incorporate some paint structure here and there too, but that didn't actually work out very well, outside of the background. I'm guessing that might be because I already do a very painterly style as is.
