Monthly Thanks Message #9

DISCLAIMER: This is a public post to show my appreciation for all my patrons that continue to help this project grow little by little.

Good Morning/Evening/Night to every single person who's reading this post today. How are you all enduring the quarantine? Good? I sure hope so. These are serious times and we all need to do our part. I know sometimes going to the beach on a sunny day may look good and appealing, but let's not think only of ourselves right now. Not everyone is resistant those times and I'm having to read about so many good people, doctors and all that are trying to go against the crazy people who are saying you should break the quarantine just because the economy can't stop, and those persons who are defending the end of the quarantine alive and quicking -- even spreading the virus more here! -- and the good doctors who try to save lives, who are risking their lives and asking that we all -- if possible -- stay at home and only leave if absolutely necessary sadly passing away. 

Please, for all of those good people who are dying out there because they are forced to go out, to do their duty with society, to help people in need, stay at home. Don't follow what those crazy politicians say. Because they can pay for the most incredible medical treatments, their families are protected and they don't give a damn about your well being if they are making you all feel secure to go out your homes breaking social distancing just because "the economy is more important". LIFE is more important. If you can work at home, a thing a LOT of people are suddenly discovering that it's POSSIBLE, then only get out if you really need it, ok? Let's be respectful human beings, together we can go over this, and sooner or later things are going back as close to what we can call normal. Don't give up people!

Now, for all of you who are still here with me: Thank you so much. I won't lie if it weren't for those 20 - 23 patrons who are constantly every month with me, I wouldn't be able to work on this game nor to pay my bills right now. My country is a mess and the only thing that's helping me right now is your amazing help. So please, if you want to help me or continue helping me next month but things are being hard on you, if you can still help me with at least tier 1 I would appreciate a lot. That means any help is always valid and I don't know why some patrons felt bad before because they had to downgrade their tier for a month or two. Guys: You all help me so much. If you're here, no matter if you're a tier 4 or a tier 1. YOU ALL are helping me tons. You have no idea how much it means and how much you are helping me by staying here. So I want to say thank you.

To all my current patrons this month, for the new patrons too and for the old patrons that sadly felt they had no choice but to back off right now. Thank you all for being with me for so much time. I will continue working on Just Friends, and I will work harder than before. This project means so much for me, and I know you guys want to see it to be done too!

Just Friends is now with its story 28% complete more or less. The game has seven days, multiple routes with one character and a total of three characters to be played with. The game engine is around 95% completed meaning I only need to code a few little new things here and there in the future.

The first Demo 1.0 will be released when the third day is completely done AND all the backgrounds for the days 1 - 3 are also finished. The Demo will contain two playable routes, one for a Mutt named Wagner, and a Tiger named Karnal.

As you all may know, both Karnal and Wagner are real people who gave their characters to be featured on this game when this project started. They are with this project from the very beginning and I hope you all can enjoy their routes when the demo is released, however: Don't forget - These characters are just that: Their original characters. They don't depict their real selves in real life and you should never judge them or their actions in real life based on this game, nor their personality by the way since I was given full creativity rights when I write this story, so please keep that in mind.

If you too want to help the project even by a little, consider becoming a Patron!

I know these times are hard, but right now it would help more than ever and a tier 1 not only is helping the project with the bare minimum, you will also get your name permanently on the game credits AND when the DEMO 1.0 is released, any current tier 1 patron will have early access to the demo by a month! If you want to check on smaller size/quality finished art for the game, concepts, read all of the Development Updates and access all the versions of the game alphas from the version 0.5 to 0.17 to check the real progress the game had from its start, you can become a Tier 2 Patron. If you want full quality image access and being able to vote in any future pools about the story or next projects you can become a Tier 3 patron! And of course, if you think this game has so much potential, and need a boost on development production, if you're a close friend who just wants to help a little bit more or if you're just feeling this is a good cause for gay furry community representation or anything else that's on your mind that makes you think this project deserves even more love, you can become a Tier 4 patron. Right now ANY of those options would help me a lot especially now that I can only count on Just Friends and this patron as my main and only source of income.
