Development Update (C) #14 - Work, Work, Work!

Hello guys, how are you holding up?

I'm here to talk a little about the next alpha for Just Friends! Oh god, I'm way out of schedule, and with that, I can say to you guys: It takes two weeks for me to create the S and A routes, but to create the entire B route it takes a lot more time than I remembered. 

I had to write everything on Scrivener, and just to be safe because my English is not the best (I learned everything by myself) I use the Grammarly app on the text. I can't buy the pro-version yet (the Pro version helps with lot more things than just misspelled words, it also let me use Grammarly on third-party software. If I can use it on Scrivener, it would make things a lot faster for me).

After I finished the corrections, I need to write the text into the JSON file. Scrivener is great I can organize my life on it so I won't lose myself. But JSON is quite complicated. The new software has the same issue than the OLD software had, even if it shows the entire text for me, and the positions of characters, if music is playing and the current background, I have a limit on the game for the text to be displayed for you guys and the software doesn't know that limit too well. So, I have to constantly adjust the text. I'm quite good on doing it however, I already know I can only put four lines of text on the editor preview, that would be enough to show you guys everything without hiding words.

But that also means I need to be careful not to just copy/paste a line from Scrivener to the software because it's almost 100% chance of the text exceeding that four lines.

Anyway, I finished al the main acts. So I'm already putting them on the game.

After that, I will pass all the text of the answers on Scrivener too, but that one will be way faster than the principal routes (The ones with the main story for the day) since they have fewer dialogs.

I'm sure I finish all the main routes today. Tomorrow I'll be finishing the Answers (And renaming them, because they need to be renamed). I'm pretty sure the new alpha will be here at the end of the month. Please wait a little longer, okay?
