Development Update (A)
Added 2019-01-21 20:57:25 +0000 UTCAfter some briefing with Wagner today, I got to a conclusion that I need to give some open updates about the game, so after a long time thinking I've come to a conclusion:
For now on, I will be giving you guys two types of Updates here. The A type is for anyone who comes here on my Patreon to check any update about the project. The C type are closed ones. The closed one will always be posted when I need to give an update only to patrons, so don't worry if you're not a patron but want to check out what's happening with the game. The difference ate that the A type is an update of what we already have on the Alpha builds, while the C ones are updates about what I've just added on the newest one. Usually, the C update comes with the alpha but sometimes I don't have anything added (like the two past weeks that I had to search all the days to find useful and good free to use music on the game).
That being said, today I'm here to show everyone a little about the last alpha and its changes:
Those last weeks I've been working on improving the game, correcting some bugs I found and working on some translations, but more than that I was having lots of trouble with Godot Alpha 0.3 because it's the only way to create for now the GLES2 versions of the game. Thank god this will end on this month's end, they will release the 3.1 finally. But that being said, I tried to add lots of stuff, so here's the actual change-log for the game since the Demo was added on Patreon:

Oh, and as you can see, the game now has two text buttons on the title screen on the left side, if you click any of them you will be able to check the changelog of the game, in-game, and the Credits of the musics used on the game and the patrons so far that helped with their patronage.

The high quality of the Hotel-Room and Tennis Court are now inside the game, so everyone can actually enjoy the beauty of it. The propose of my games, in general, is that both the backgrounds and character are all made by only one artist instead of using real-world images, of course just like the airport background is a real image, soon we will replace with the actual art Wagner will design eventually.

The data menu now highlight the tab you are so you can always see what page of the saves you are, it's a simple change but it wasn't complete on the Demo when I released it.

But the best addition for me right now is the Log menu. It can be accessed by clicking the Log button on the main game and it can hold around 30 dialog text before it starts deleting the last first dialog in the list to add another one. It's a good way to check what you did, what you can do, etc. The Log is not persistent since I don't think it's needed to.
There are lots and lots of stuff I still need to add, such as a "Suggest Correction" icon in-game that will give you the option to suggest a correction for a dialog in the game, the skip button that is something I'm having trouble to add, and of course the Config menu that's still disabled, but soon will be done!
There's a lot to change, so much to add and I'm doing my best to make this game better. I cannot thank my patrons enough for helping me so much with their patronage, that's why I have added their name on the credits section of the game, so they can always see they're part of this game and many others that will come!

Thank all of you guys for helping me and making this project possible. Without your help every month it would not be possible to continue with this project, and I know I say that a lot but I cannot express how much you guys are helping me. So, again: Thank you so much for your help. Really.
And that's it for today's update. I don't know when I will have another public update like this but I'm sure it will be after I have a good amount of stuff to say and show for those who are following my page waiting for updates! For all of you, thanks for showing your interest, please share my page so the project can grow.
Have a nice week, and see you later.
