Sphinx reveal + Devlog #125 + Monstergirl poll #50 is on!

Sphinx girl!
Her mods were Blobcat minion matching the girl's theme, Archeologist, Expansion obsessor, and that was a tough one to figure out!
The Blobcat minion is pretty obvious. I quickly got the idea of making him scarab themed, so this is Scarablobcat! Bit of a mouthful but that's ok. I also kind of just got this idea of a winged cage, and it worked really well on several level, so she ended up with two familiars! :B
As for the Expansion obsessor, I gave her a bra that gives a lot of squish at higher ranks, plus a special expression!
Archeologist though, that was the really tough one. Which is slightly ironic since in the end she just has a hat, glasses and a jacket, but making these work with a pose and design that would still feel Sphinx like was a challenge for sure, most of what I tried either went too strongly in one direction or another. I'm very happy with the result though, I think this hits a perfect middleground ^^
As you might have guessed, she was drawn by Bulumblebee! He did an incredible job as always, and greatly improved her pose and angle compared to my initial sketch!

This month was certainly something!
Let's see... First of all, a bit on my IRL situation! Things are going well, and I'll have very few IRL distractions this month. There is still some work to be done on the place, and my family has been helping me a lot with this! I will hopefully be able to move for good in September if all goes well. The bad news is, we did have a bit of an accident and my father ended up with stitches on his arm...! He's thankfully ok and shouldn't suffer any permanent damage, but obviously this slowed down things a little. Never had to call an ambulance before... I'm just glad he's alright!

Then, there was the whole payment processor thing with Itch and Steam. BEW got deindexed from Itch (the page is still accessible through the direct link) just like many other games. This is truly disgusting stuff, but other than signing petitions there isn't a whole lot I can do, so it's wait and see for the time being. All I can say is that whatever happens, I'll just roll with the punches, keep at it, and make BEW happen one way or another! I also won't be censoring anything! So no worries there ^^
(I actually wrote this devlog yesterday, and it looks like Itch has started reindexing free NSFW games just a few hours ago! BEW isn't appearing for me yet, but hopefully it will before long)

Now for the progress!
I've been working on many more chibi sprites like last month. There are still a bunch more to do, but I'm very happy with my progress! I'll be posting more of these in another couple months, but what I'll say for now is that these are turning great and I'm on a good pace! Lots of booba :B
I always feel bad that I don't have a whole lot to say when I'm working on art, but there isn't really any avoiding it... All I can say is, I can't wait to show the new chibi sprites ^^

About the new version of GM2, I haven't heard any news on that front so far. I'm hoping it will be out be the time my move is done so I can release the ported version of BEW Mason worked on, but if not, we'll be using whatever most recent version of GM2 is out temporarily.
On the subject of the game itself, you might have noticed I released a very small update a couple days ago! This was just a fix for a newly discovered bug that would cause stored consumables to get deleted when loading a save. Nothing too crazy, which is why I waited for the devlog to mention it ^^

Finally, I have some news about the polls! The 50th monstergirl poll is starting today. There will only be 10 of these left afterwards, so I've been thinking about delaying these a bit by holding more special polls in the coming months. That is, Alt costume polls and NPC polls like in the past, but also new Illustration polls!
As you might know, I have stretch goals in place for Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/posts/92329570).Every $100 threshold reached, one more illustration is unlocked. These illustrations will be visible in game in the future, and there are currently 17 of these unlocked!
My idea was that I'd let patrons submit ideas for these illustrations. These could be about pretty much anything: A character, a scene based on an in game cutscene (or not!), an area... Afterwards, patrons would be able to vote for whichever idea they like most, much like the other polls. What do you think? Feel free to let me know or to ask questions either in the comments or in the Discord server directly! I'm thinking of opening these Illust idea submissions around mid August ^^
To be clear, not every single one of these illustrations will be determined that way! I'll take care of a bunch of these on my own. But given these are unlocked through Patreon stretch goals, this feels like a good direction.

The next monstergirl poll has begun! You can now vote for the monstergirl you want to be included in BE Witches in the Discord server if you are a 2$+ patron!

The poll will be active until the 12th of this month. After this, you will be able to change your submitted modifiers until the 15th. Finally, the two rounds of the modifier poll will take one week each afterwards.
