I do honestly enjoy it, but at the same time I don't think it gives my art "texture" I want my art to convey. So I've taken much more often to sketching shadows in as opposed to purely painting them: I feel like a lot of my personal feelings about art is that alot of us want to be painters, on principle. I'm trying to let go of that, and be a bit more expressive. With heavy inks and colored lines. But who knows, I'm just exploring. Trying to figure out what "feels" right lately.
