Wings of Empire: Act I (The Eagle)

After tinkering with the Sandbox for a while, Wings of Empire's Act I (Day 1-17) is now complete. It introduces the major characters, a whole lot of sandbox content and of course some spicy scenes.

While there's only 17 days in-game, there's ~40 days worth of additional sandbox content, mostly centered on the gym and the bar. Get to know your wing-mates, spend some time flirting with the Legion girls or dive into the back-story with the XO. Like always, you can continue playing from the end-of-act save; once I start working on Act 2 content I'll offer to pull you back to morning, day 18.

Apart from Wings of Empire I've been focused on completing all the rest of the work for Morningstar and Love of Magic. This includes a big pass through to reduce compression artifacts, final spellchecks and tweaks, and building... far too many times.

Across 3 platforms (Windows/Mac/Linux) the 5 games together are 179 GB worth of gaming, and I needed to build both Steam and non-Steam versions. My poor PC's panting like it's run a marathon.

Like Love of Magic, Wings of Empire is planned as a trilogy, with ~300 days scattered across 3 books. We're only getting started, but I'm enjoying where it's going at the moment.

If you haven't already done so, one thing that'd be super useful is give the Steam Page for Wings of Empire a like and a follow; that helps a lot on launch, in terms of getting Steam to recommend it to other players.

As always the easiest way to play is through Steam; it's sitting on the Morningstar development branch until it's ready to go on sale, and any supporter that wants a key gets one, regardless of supporter tier.

Since I know some people don't want adult games on their Steam page, I've also made non-steam mirrors. These will only update at the end of every Act, so I'd really recommend Steam :)
