Progress update: Morningstar
Added 2024-04-22 02:34:18 +0000 UTCI'm currently hard at work on Act IV's ending sequence (I'm on day 72; the act ends day 74). While rendering out the day I was messing around in Photoshop, and decided I liked this enough that I should share it.
Once I'm done with the last 3 days, I've got some side content to do, and cleanup (mainly in the match3 combat system), before I slap it on the ass and call it done. Hopefully it'll be out and playable in 2 weeks time (or less, if I get inspired) :)
After that I'll be doing a general world pass; there's a number of side characters that's gotten shoved aside as the Emily/Katie train picks up speed, and I want to dedicate a development cycle to them, and to the match3 game (and maybe a random dungeon, similar to the Paths). Expect more Katja, Lin, Snowdrop and Saoe content to help flesh out the world and make it feel lived in.
Morningstar's also got a release date! I'm aiming to put it in Early Access on the 30th May, which should let me have Act IV complete, and hopefully the Act IV+ stuff as well. To help it get a great launch, giving it a wishlist is super helpful. Tell your friends ;)
