So I had to decide between Arcane S2 or Severance for the upcoming free slot, ended up going with Severance. I just couldn’t use the one live action slot for another Anime/Animated show. It’s still part of the plans of course, and I will have a decent amount recorded before it drops. It’s the same approach with house of the dragon, chipping away at that any chance I get.

So i went and checked out Heavenly Delusion since you are interested in it and i don't even know what to say. It's for sure one of the most unique shows i've ever watched, made me feel so many things lol. Can't wait for your take on it

I agree on OPs and EDs (mostly OPs) being integral part of anime watching experience. Watching it afterwards once or twice isn't the same imo. But I understand it from Im's point of view, as a reactor especially, he's very sensitive to spoilers and even the slightest hints. Me on the other hand, I don't really care about spoilers and I even love some teasing hinting and knowing some bits and pieces about things I want to watch beforehand. Personally I don't think there's anything spoilery in S;G OP and ED but Im might think otherwise since he's that sensitive to slightest hints. And tbf Im watches them sometimes if they’re integral to the story, like with Monster. And I don’t remember for sure but I think he watched different EDs of Chainsaw Man right after the episodes. I don’t think it’s necessary to watch OPs and EDs everytime and in every anime but there are exceptions. There are things like Monogatari Series where watching OPs is definitely part of the experience and it would be a crime to skip them. Or I don’t know, how can you end the episodes in the first part of JJK S1 without watching the whole ED when it’s such a banger of both song and video. It’s just evil.

So happy Steins; Gate won. Frieren is an amazing Anime, and I would have voted for that one, but I could not pass on this opportunity. Not a lot of reactors watching Steins; Gate. It's an all-timer IMO (as well as Frieren)

Can't believe Steins;Gate episode one and HxH 148 drop the same monday! The OP/ED for S;G barely spoils anything if it even does at all. I suggest you watch because some interesting visuals and it just adds to the show. At least watch once or after episode 3 if you don't trust us. Also Stein;Gate is only 24 episodes long therefore "episode 25" is actually an OVA which you should also watch as part of the story. Hopefully you enjoy the series as much as many of us did. I know you've read a few negative or mixed opinions in the comments so you always keep your expectations in check because sometimes fans do overhype series but I already gave my opinion. Anyhow looking forward to juicy reviews. Good Luck!

Fairs! That's my personal preference too, dubbing over Miyano Mamoru always feels like sacrilege!! That said, if you ever feel so inclined, the English dub is absolutely worth checking out! Looking forward to this one!

Oh that’s fine if some of the hype is gone by then, it’s not really a deciding factor. It’s a show I’ve really wanted to watch and analyze. Oh yes, this is strictly a live action show slot. Andor is definitely something I want to check out at some point.

After you finish Docter Who, I know you said you’ll be planning to switch over to Severance but by then I imagine S2 would’ve ended therefore some hype will die down with it. While I’m definitely excited for you to check out Severance I would also recommend considering Andor which will begin its new season April 11th or even Mushoku Tensei(S3 late 2025) but I assume you want a live-action show.

Nice! Regarding the OP and ED, I think they're all fine to just watch without spoiling events, if you want to just crack on and watch them. It's your choice of course. Also, to head off any potential sub/dub discussions: they're both fantastic, there's no wrong option, and I say that as someone who tends to turn my nose up at English dubs! Take your pick, whichever floats your boat

Excited for the reactions. You basically watched my fav anime that I’ve rated a 10/10 in the past few years with FMAB, now Steins Gate, HxH and currently Monster. Eva now shares also a 10/10. Only two left with Monogatari and Fate Zero! Also do you plan jumping directly into Steins Gate Zero? Cause I would recommend doing a break for multiple reasons you will soon figure out once you watched SG. Yeah, pls don‘t put Frieren on another poll it will 100% oblitarate the next one Heavenly Delusion is also really cool though that one will prob never get a szn 2 or we are gonna have to wait for years. From the 3 niche shows you‘ve mentioned would pick Ping Pong even though it‘s not the greatest start for sports anime imo cause it‘s very different. Despite that it‘s a fantastic show
