If you're still choosing, I think Triss Merigold from The Witcher series might be a good fit for winter. Another good option might be Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn - not a super Christmas-y theme but there are a lot of very snowy/frozen settings to get inspiration from, and the body type is different from what you usually draw. Could be a unique creative challenge.
