Discussing plans for future

Hiya guys, since I’ve been on break I’ve been putting a lot of thought into the future so I figured I’d put these ideas here since Patreon might be my main source of income after Castle Swimmer ends.

There’s still quite a bit of story to go until Castle Swimmer ends. Originally the comic was going to have four seasons but I think I’ll make season three extra long instead. So I plan to still be working on the comic for at least another year before it is finished. (Don’t quote me on that lol)

In the past I had a bunch of ideas for ‘filler adventures’ for Siren and Kappa to go on because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to find other work after Webtoon so I wanted the comic to run as long as possible 😂 but I’ve since decided that I should just stick to the main plot thread and go ahead and give the comic it’s proper ending.

A big factor in this is because the work schedule is extremely demanding and unhealthy. SO for my next comic I’ve decided I’m gonna try making it without being a webtoon original and just try and make income through Patreon.

So-MY CURRENT PLAN- which could change but we’ll see- is once Castle Swimmer ends, this Patreon will transition into my next comic and there will be more tiers (including a NSFW Tier that involves characters from the new comic only) the comic itself will be posted for free on WEBTOON canvas and various other places but there will be extra stuff here on Patreon, like wips and early viewing of updates (similar to fast pass)

If in the future you guys decide you’d rather not support the Patreon since it will no longer include Castle Swimmer content then that’s totally fine! I will give a heads up before it transitions so you’ll have plenty of time to decide 👍

If you’re curious what the next comic will be- I’ve posted some stuff about it on social media but it’s basically bird boy romance instead of fish boy romance lol.

So, super early heads up but I figured I’d float this out here.

Also! I’d like to try making a little bit of merch before I’m totally swamped by episodes again so I’ll post those ideas soon ;)

Also also- I do have plans to publish Castle Swimmer into physical books but I can’t give any details about that yet so stay tuned!
