2025-01-11 00:55:31 +0000 UTCi don’t know if you remember back to the guide but bss (booseoksoon - boo for boo seungkwan, seok for lee seokmin which is dokyeom’s real name and soon for kwon soonyoung which is hoshi’s) is one of the subunits of svt. they started out as a little gag trio who would do silly little dance covers but decided to release a song in 2018 called just do it which was SO fun and witty. they didn’t release anything until back in 2023 when they released fighting haeyaji and their first mini album with two other songs. fighting broke the nation!! it became korea’s anthem and now they’re back in 2025 telling us to live our youth! they’re the moodmakers of kpop and so loved by everyone. the award shows are the best, no idol or actor is sitting down when they’re on stage, everyone joins in bc they just bring back FUN

The first syllables for each word stands for “youth is now” which they chant in the bridge. 청 chung- chungchun (youth) 바 ba- baro (is) 지 zi/ji- jigeum (now) They’re telling people to put their jeans on and live their youth!! gotta love bss

2025-01-10 20:38:24 +0000 UTCLet me give you the sub unit songs so far seventeen has: BSS- just do it, fighting, CBZ (CBZ means it’s the acronym for cheongbazi (청바지), the korean word for jeans. in this instance, cheongbazi is an acronym for cheongchunneun baro jigeum (청춘는 바로 지금), which means “youth is now” ) Wonwoo and jeonghan (JW)- last night Hoshi and woozi - bring it (it also has performance in mama 2018), they're also marking a comeback this year before hoshi goes to military service. Leaders(as you know seventeen main sub units hip-hop, vocal and performance and each unit has leader. So in leaders unit hoshi , s coups and woozi) - change up, cheers. Other than this: Jun and the8- my i Vernon and Joshua- 2 minus 1 Seungkwan and dk - say yes.

2025-01-10 20:05:25 +0000 UTCBSS is a trio that have been formed since predebut (most carats refer to them as the gag trio too) they had their first song out in 2018 and since then we've been wanting other songs from them and that's when in 2023 they released "fighting" with 2 other songs in the album (they're so good too) and then this year they released CBZ (which literally means jeans but the other meaning is "youth is now") and there is 2 other songs too " happy alone" which is probably my favorite and "love song" i love this one bcz it's ballad alike and that's it 😁

I think she presented Seventeen with one of their Daesangs (grand prize) last year or the year before. The reason for the disclaimer is likely because this promotion leans into politics and in the latter half of 2024, in SK, the president did some problematic stuff leading to his impeachment. Fun fact: during the rallies against him, folks played Seventeen's Aju Nice and BSS' Fighting (along with other songs) Haha

2025-01-10 18:23:56 +0000 UTCHey Guys - BSS Stands for Boo-Seok-Soon taken from the real names of BOO Seungkwan, Lee SEOKmin (DK) and Kwon SOONyoung (Hoshi). It is a sub unit of Seventeen that debuted in 2018 with 'Just do It'. BSS just came back with their 2nd album "Teleparty" and you guys just watched it's Title track CBZ which in Korean is 'ChenogBaJi' which literally means "Blue Jeans" but is actually a short form of 'Chongcheunen Baro Jiegeum' which measns "Youth is Now". You guys should also check their song "Fighting" which features Youngji. BSS's songs always have a different flavour and are always so youthful, colourful and motivating.
