2025-01-10 12:28:39 +0000 UTCYeah, I'm pretty sure Jeonghan was being a trooper/good vice leader by staying up but also he really enjoys being around when all the members gather like this. Another thing to note is that Woozi and Hoshi are also leaders. Typically they are going to step up more. The show where they get stranded is called One Fine Day 13 Castaway Boys. I hope you will consider watching it after this. It will be a while off but it was their first long trips together and the comparison is just crazy. Sorry, one other thing, they defintely didnt care as much about being guys in front of the camera predebut. Its interesting to watch them slowly start to worry over their social appearance right before they debuted. I still think they are more authentic than most though. Also having seen them be teens before debut without too many filters helps me see how little their core personalities have changed.

I don't know if this is or was the norm for trainees and idols but from what I understand, pretty much every step of their journey has been recorded and you can see how much it's apart of them. Even during this show, you see them often taking the reins in terms of content. Such as when they were kidnapped and took over how to approach the rest of the members or how they decide to do things.

2025-01-10 01:46:56 +0000 UTCI meant more in general. S.Coups wasn't there and being recorded and when they were kidnapped, they had separate rooms and didn't know they would end up filming. Once again I think those teenage years must be rough on idols haha Cause they spent those years all living together in the dorm, sharing bunk beds and sharing I don't know how many bathroom. Talk about privacy 🫣😬 One thing I kinda admire about Seventeen is they really were kinda thrown into the deep end and by alot of their own effort they managed to not only survive but thrive. Like not many people could stay together as long as they have ESPECIALLY from as young as they were AND with as many as they are. Even though they went through growing pains of fighting, arguing, and silent treatments, they're still together at this point.

2025-01-10 01:10:10 +0000 UTCabout the doing “guy things” it also wouldn’t logically make any sense for them to be doing those things while being filmed for a reality tv show around the clock where they share beds with the other members. 😭 obviously it’s a human thing but they 100% would not be doing that while filming any show in a shared space. and from what i know they no longer have cameras in bathroom’s. luckily times have changed and they realized how absurd and inhumane that was.

2025-01-10 01:07:31 +0000 UTCIt amuses me whenever y'all mention about privacy or allude to them doing "guy things" because it's just so... not "idol like" haha Like people (i.e. their fans) are supposed to believe they don't do those things or even know about it. If they're doing ANY late night activities, it's dollars to donuts -> gaming, eating, practicing, drinking, or social media (from what I understand haha). They've even had to immediately get up in the morning to do missions/challenges. (Though maybe editing is involved though I don't *think* so haha) And more on privacy, I don't know if it's still the case (it wasn't for this show) but there was a time when cameras were even put in bathrooms in variety shows. They would be about chest level and they were stationary. There are other cameras in other rooms that are motion sensored or something so they would move. So it's a mix of cameras. Once upon a time, Seventeen were tricked into be stranded on an island and at the place they were staying at, there were cameras in the room they were changing in (maybe it was the bedroom). Anywho, some of the guys were just about changing as quick as possible, others tried covering the cameras. In the end, it's partly up to trusting producers and editors to not show too much of anything.

2025-01-10 00:15:16 +0000 UTCthe members who weren’t there eating were car sick it said it at the bottom. which is also why jeonghan was eating ramen to comfort his stomach as he often gets very motion sick. jun and vernon went to sleep it off. the members who are most likely to be motion sick are jeonghan, wonwoo and the8. i love watching seventeen just be seventeen. they all have certain roles that they take in the kitchen, the members who don’t cook like vernon, seungkwan, wonwoo and hoshi clean while main chef mingyu, then dk, the8, sometimes woozi and jun cook. they lived together for so long that they just have a routine. and everyone knows where to go and what to do. they are such a family ): i love them sm.
