You touched on a really good point there about how you still don’t know who hangs out with each other the most! And I think it’s so rare what seventeen have. These are 13 men who all have such different personalities and habits and if we did the maths, there’s actually 78 possible duos you can make and yet every single duo in this group is just as close as any other duo and that’s how you know they’re all family. 100% they all have deeper memories with certain members like scoups and jeonghan who went through a lot and became each other’s strength at the start, or mingyu who would invite minghao to his house for the holidays bc minghao’s family was in china or wonwoo and hoshi who went to school together etc. but again you’ll see moments between them all and they’re just best friends.

2025-02-02 21:31:19 +0000 UTCBack during debut times, they all had to live in a cramped dorm with each other so that’s why they’re all just fit into their roles so well and they don’t care about the accommodation not being what they’re used to now (million dollar apartments) considering they’re still humble and they always remember their roots. they used to have one small toothpaste tube between each other back then and would have real arguments about it but look how far they’ve come! They’re literally brothers😭😭 also I hope you watch in the soop next, you can really see their habits there too because it’s the same sort of dynamic but in that show they’re just left to their own devices. You can see how close they all are too with how they separate rooms and members because they know each other’s sleeping habits. For instance, the8 and jeonghan have a very hard time falling asleep with noise and light so they’re given separate rooms usually but in nana tour they just try their best to adjust

I could kinda see why Dino would've been scared or intimidated since apparently Hoshi primed him for it by calling S.Coups a demon and then the first thing he saw was S.Coups having Mingyu in headlock haha and Dino was only 13/14 & even smaller than he is now. That's a hell of an introduction haha I wonder how that conversation went where everyone just stopped being formal or whatever version of formal they were at the time. Hoshi and Woozi were also intimidating during those trainee days. Why do I find that more believable than S.Coups being the scary one? Haha

2025-01-02 03:22:20 +0000 UTCand when scoups says he used to be mean he was being very honest. the other members especially the younger ones like dino (being the youngest) used to be afraid of him when they were trainees. 😭 he was very strict, direct and he really did not take anyones shit lmao. but when they debuted he let loose and allowed himself to be a little more laid back.

2025-01-02 00:13:57 +0000 UTCat 45:20 they are talking about how in korean culture there is a certain formal way you talk to those older than you. and even the term hyung which a male says to an older guy friend or brother is not always used by the younger ones. within seventeen the younger ones do not speak to the older members in the usual formal respectful way, they speak as if they are ALL the same age. the younger ones even don’t always call the older members hyung which is why they took the time to explain it to the korean viewers who might see it as the younger members being disrespectful to their elders. it is a HUGE part of korean culture, speaking, behaving and just being around someone older than you, you are meant to behave and speak in a certain way. but seventeen don’t care, they are family so they don’t crack down on things like that.

2025-01-02 00:13:53 +0000 UTCseventeen are the closest group i have ever seen and i am in ever fandom and have been since 2016. so yes, there are pairings that are infamous like jeonghan/scoups (the parents also the scheming cheaters lol) mingyu/wonwoo, seungkwan/vernon, the8/jun but seventeen in general all love eachother and have special bonds within the WHOLE group. you can put any pairing together and see that they all are legit family. there is no odd one out or any member who isn’t close. they have known each other since they were all kids.

Fyi, Running Man is a popular and long term show thats loved worlwide. Jackie Chan episode is still a legend among fans. Would be fun if you guys watch it😁

They're decisive and proactive and they're willing to argue/ negotiate with staff/people on behalf of their members. You can see it in this episode. There was some of that in Game Caterers.
