Seungkwan last year went in a hiatus because his best friend moobin from Astro sadly passed away , he came back at the end of 2023 only, he was emotional during his ment because moonbin would always come to svt shows, he is very open about his grief

But for that show, they opened up behind the stage seating for people who just wanted to be there no matter what, even if they couldn’t see anything.

This is a very scaled down version of the actual concert that is almost 4 hours long. They cut out probably about nine songs, all of the talking and comments, and I’m sure we only got half of the never-ending aju nice. I actually like to buy access to the online streaming of the concert when they’re available on Weverse. 2024-11-27 03:48:15 +0000 UTCseungkwan’s speech always makes my heart ache so much. as someone who grew up following both astro and seventeen moonbin’s passing still does not feel real, no matter how much time has passed i still shed a tear. you didn’t notice but during cheers to youth he began tearing up. he said he saw the single dandelion pass by and it made him cry because dandelions are well connected to moonbin as he loved the flower & seungkwan even made a song dandelion for him. it warms my heart to know that he’s watching over seungkwan and seeing that seungkwan knows that and carries him with him in his thoughts. he took a hiatus from all seventeen activities for a while to grieve. and by the way if you guys are reading this moonbin’s cause of death was never confirmed so the comments saying he took his own life are misinformation. his family did not want his cause of death or anything pertaining to his passing to be public.

2024-11-26 23:20:46 +0000 UTCSeungkwan was emotional during his ending comments because he was remembering his best friend who passed away, Moonbin (from the group Astro). That’s why he went on hiatus last year and couldn’t participate in concerts, to grieve and for health reasons. Seungkwan released the song Dandelion just before the concert and it’s a beautiful tribute to Moonbin and he got emotional during vocal unit’s performance because while they were singing Cheers to Youth, he saw a little dandelion spore flying in front of him🥹and he knew Binnie would’ve loved the song too💜

Actually, a lot of seventeen were close to moonbin so it hit hard. It’s a very touching and nice song he sings. If you need a link let me know. I went both days haha I was aju nice-ing it up in the crowd!! First day I was tired as hell from jumping nonstop, then day 2 I think I kept up with them (barely) 😂😂 they are such huge forces of energy on and off the stage! Yes hopefully they come again next year and you guys can see them live! Insane! Our guys won two daesangs (grand prizes) this year, artist of the year and album of the year. They deserve it all and more 😭😭 they were so busy this year and have been working nonstop, proud is such an understatement! I love seeing yall get wrecked by every member 🤣 especially tobi trying to stay loyal to DK haha. It's a war zone out here when you got 13 fine ass men like this! Thank you guys sm 🙏🏽 please watch their MAMA performance next!!

2024-11-24 19:35:07 +0000 UTCSeventeen concert are usually anywhere from 3-4 hours long (when they perform in Souther Korea, it can go really, really long - they try to finish before the subways stop running lol)! It's so much fun! When you're there at the concert, it feels like it goes by too fast especially bc Seventeen are so engaged with the fans, no matter where you sit.

Moonbin and Seungkwan were known as very close best friends. Seungkwan took a break from all the activities to grieve the death. It was very hard decision to make but SVT & everyone waited patiently for Seungkwan to come back when he was ready. Seungkwan carries such a huge laughter in him but he holds sometimes the saddest. This reaction and being able to rewatch the concert as well as your reactions was very beautiful. Thank you for this.

His name was Moonbin and he took his life last April. Seungkwan had to take a break from all activies as he was grieving. They were truly close and even the members of both groups are very good friends.

Everyone knows that being in the industry is extremely difficult, yet the boys made it seem like it's easy with how they have fun on stage and off stage. Above all that, they always make sure and reassure carats that they'll always repay the love they receive. Seventeen really is a group you can be proud of.
