2024-09-05 01:26:49 +0000 UTCSolo Leveling is a Korean Manhwa! So, in the anime, the characters' names and locations are Korean. Hence Sung (Last Name) Jinwoo (First Name). You'll notice later they mention locations like Jeju Island, so despite the dialogue being in Japanese, it's all based in Korea.
