And a very BIG shoutout to patrons that have already been subscribed for our past kdramas.
So, of course we are continuing to keep the ball rolling with the kdramas. We had a kdrama in mind already but we still want to give you guys a chance to vote.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a LOT of you. Theres no way we can do 10 kdramas at one time. If your option isnt chosen, dont stress. We will try our best to do it for the next kdrama. We have watched over 20 kdramas since starting this channel and we are going to try our best to get to all of them

hi i recomend u to watch taxi driver it's a good show, but if u want to watch that drama, start with S1 first, i give 10/10 for that show, i excited to watch together with u for second time!

You keep saying if i don’t like a show or if you don’t like a show…I’m saying if QOT nearly won last poll against lovely runner, why put it in a poll against an older show that’s been highly requested for a long time? If QOT nearly won last time against another newer show, then it’s definitely gonna win against an older show. They should’ve just done QOT of tears next since it came close to winning last poll. Especially, if they seem to be in a romance drama mood because of lovely runner. It makes no sense to put an action drama in a poll with a romance one if clearly they still wanted to do romance. All it did is cause people you claim was hating on QOT to seem to be annoyed.

Yes, many like taxi driver as you’ve said BUT clearly not that much. Taxi driver fans are just more vocal abt it. Just because QoT is new doesn’t mean it wil always win. I honestly think it would’ve made more sense for them to do the poll with dramas that have been requested for a while instead of doing a poll with one that is new and one that is older that have been requested for a long time. I think it would’ve made it an equal playing field had they put CLOY and Taxi driver in a poll since i seen both have been highly requested for very long time. It would made more sense if they put QOT in a poll with another newer drama this time around too that has been highly requested like they did last poll with QOT with Lovely runner. Because it makes no sense to put two shows in a poll together with one being new and has a bunch of hype currently against a show that is more than likely not being thought of to be first pick that have been highly requested for a long time. Because we already know the newer show in its current hype phase will win the poll for sure.

Clearly, based on the comments, many like the show and would love for them to react to it. Just like many who have requested QOT. There is no need to bash one show just because you aren’t in favor of it. And then take a tone in your response with being rude and condescending. I’ve already mentioned this in other replies, the reason people were hyping it up in the comment section is because it was requested ages ago and have been requested time and time again for a long while. Which means the show obviously never got old.

Because of the hype its been getting in the comment section I went to watch it on my own and haven't gone past ep 5 because it is just dragging. I haven't seen QoT but just as they perhaps feels QoT is dead, many must feel the same for Taxi Driver so i think everyone should just suck it up and let them decide if they like it or not. Same bs people were doing with Lovely Runner that almost made me not watch it. Opinions are diff from bare slander

However, this is the purpose of the poll, no matter how loud a 'fandom' (for the lack of a better word) majority wins. I can't help if you don't love QoT as much as I do and you think it's overhyped, because that's your preference, and I'm okay with that. I'm just pointing out the ridiculous amount of back handed compliments and straight out mean comments here that doesn't help their preferred kdrama. Again whatever wins, I'm staying either way.

But i did see a few being a little rude about taxi driver, almost like they were just insulting the show. I think it’s because people are feeling it’s a bit unfair that it was put in the poll when it’s been highly requested for so long. Almost like teasing about possibly watching it, but knowing they won’t since we already knew QOT was gonna win from the beginning. Some mentioned too that everyone else is reacting to QOT already too and it’s just getting overhyped and old. Almost like when everyone talked about Squid game and people were getting tired of hearing about it. I loved Squid game though, so i had no problem with it. But idk. I personally don’t have much of an opinion on it since i didn’t finish it. (I got distracted starting like 5 other dramas. Lol)

I think it’s from 2010-2011. But it has a younger kim beom in it. He also has longer hair too. And apparently he developed juvenile arthritis from all the weight he lost in such a short amount of time too for the role. He’s dedicated for sure.

Also you have to take into consideration their preference they might still be in that melo romance mood as they have rated Lovely runner as their top 1 kdrama so far. Taxi driver might not be their preferred genre as someone who is an avid kdrama fan even I haven't watched taxi driver yet I don't think it has enough appeal to draw me into watching it. Although the actor i can agree is one the most hyped in the industry. People just need to calm down and the results decide for itself and we must respect the decision and the guys for they want to watch.

And then some are even saying that the genre needs to be switched up a bit since they already reacted to a romance drama. It just seems now since it’s been passed up so many times that i doubt they’ll even react to it to be honest, even though they say they will. And with especially because of how the poll is looking right now, it seems like a guarantee they’re never going to react it. It’ll just be an endless cycle of passing up taxing driver. There’s action.There is a lot of fighting and a good amount of comedy. each episode is different with a different revenge so it doesn’t get boring. Not only is it fast-paced and interesting, but it's somewhat episodic, so it's good for viewing over a longer period of time

I can never remove it from my top 5 K-Dramas. I quite literally recommend it to everyone I discuss movies/shows with. It's a MASTERPIECE.

2024-08-18 17:18:32 +0000 UTCListen, I'm a HUGE fan of both dramas so I couldn't be more conflicted about this choice...! BUT. I will advocate for both. "Queen of Tears" is a fantastic drama. About love, life's tragedies, pain, loss, hatred, revenge, losing who you are and finding yourself again, overcoming impossible obstacles. The cast is TOP tier, the male lead is Korea's highest paid actor and for a good reason, he's incredible and so expressive. The female lead is an extremely talented actress, she's been in big K-drama hits and nobody else could have played her role in the show better. It's as if it was written for her. You will laugh, you will, cry, you will get angry. You'll want to binge it. It's an addiction. I've watched hundreds of Korean dramas but the response of the people while this was airing was unparallel. It was an EXPERIENCE. You definitely want to watch this and you will regret not doing so. It's a MUST like "Lovely Runner" for K-Drama enjoyers. I have to warn you though. You will probably have to do this Patreon exclusive cause the copyright strikes for this drama on YT are crazy. Which means YouTube subscribers will have to miss on your reactions. That said. I've never heard "Taxi Driver" having such issues on YouTube and you will probably be able to share your reactions there too. As for "Taxi Driver" as a drama. I actually voted for this one. You know the male lead from "Move to Heaven". He's one of my favorite actors and admittedly one of the best Korean actors of all time. This man can do it all. Romance, comedy, action. He's amazing and I never ever miss his dramas. "Taxi Driver" is a different drama than most. While it's mainly action, it's deeply touching and at times heartbreaking, shocking, violent. It has its main team of characters (same in both seasons) with their individual stories and drives but it also has separate stories/cases every 2 episodes or so. You will get attached to these characters. You'll want to see them getting justice and you'll want to see them giving justice to others who were wronged. It will be a unique drama for you, I can guarantee that. You'll feel the team as your buddies, they're such a wonderful bunch of people who are hurting but they become a family through their struggles. And it's already been announced there's a season 3 coming, next year probably. So, I advise you to watch them both, it's really not a question of choosing between the two but mostly choosing which if them to watch first. You will be adding two gems to your watchlist. You shouldn't miss either of them!!!
