And he was smiling when he was trying to torture the reporter guy. But when he tries to smile to look like a good guy, it’s forced. It’s wild an actor can do both things so convincingly.

Your confusion is confusing me . I get not remembering names however everyone in the flash backs or part of the conversations are existing characters. For example we have only meet one reporter which means every storyline that involves a reporter or an article has to be him since the is literally no other reporter you know , y’all were throwing me off and I’ve literally watched the show 😭😭😭 I’m sitting here lost .

The actor who plays the reporter is Seo Hyeon-woo. He’s been in quite a few shows and a really good movie called A Boy and Sungreen, whose main actor is one of the students in All Of UsAre dead. He’s my fav character in this show.

Vegetable pancakes is literally vegetables in pancakes (Pajon). I personally don't like ppl that put baking soda in theys because it makes it to fluffy. The best Korean pancake for me is seafood, water, flour, cornstarch, and some kimchi or green onion

I haven't seen this show before and am enjoying following along with you guys. But I think with this show you guys might have to remember some names, otherwise it'll start to get really confusing. As others have said, his old identity is Do Hyun Soo (the son of Do Min-seok, the serial killer) and his new identity is Baek Hee Sung (the husband of the detective). The guy who had an appointment with the reporter in the basement is a guy who must've known Hyun Soo at some point in time (we're not sure yet when) he tries to kill Hyun Soo for his money (in the rain scene in the woods). Some years after that happened, it seems that he started getting threatening late night phone calls from an unknown caller. He thinks immediately that it's Hyun Soo seeking revenge for that attempted killing. Then he sees the article published by the reporter about the OG serial killer and the fact that his son, Hyun Soo was part of the crimes. So he thinks of reaching out to the reporter since he thinks he's getting threatened by Hyun Soo. BUT I don't think it's Hyun Soo who is threatening him in those phone calls because when the main character husband (Hyun Soo now pretending to be Hee Sung), was on the phone with him pretending to be the reporter, he looked genuinely surprised that this guy he hadn't seen in forever from his past is claiming to be receiving threatening phone calls from Hyun Soo. Anyway, this is making me doubt that the husband is actually the one who killed this guy at the end of the episode, but I could be wrong.

That look he gives her when he is looking at her face is because he is analyzing her face to see her emotions. He saw that her facial expressions was that of annoyance and was thinking to himself “oh shit, she’s not happy I gotta do/say something to make up for it.”

Do Min-seok: the serial killer that will always be mentioned and as we find out this episode is hyunsoo/Hee-sungs dad. Kim Moojin the reporter in the basement is the one who wrote the article that is also constantly brought up about the village heads death. They even say it right before y’all asked if it was him😂 And the stare look he does is when he’s trying to read her face/understand her emotions. As we see with him watching videos of facial expressions, he struggles understanding emotions (his own, others) but y’all never suspecting the lady was crazy she was the first suspect for me 😂
