I felt that way about Alchemy of Souls. Everyone loves that drama but I could never get into it. I even tried watching it with Core4 all the way up to the episode they stopped on and still didn’t like it. Although their reaction did make the show bearable at times.. I feel like you guys should jus give whatever show you aren’t interested in a chance if they choose to react to it cause you may turn out to actually like it if you watch it along with them.

Someone got in their feelings below in the comments over a couple people telling them that itaewon class isn’t that great of a show to react to because they mentioned in their opinion most of the other dramas recommended is not really good dramas to react to. They got in their feelings claiming they don’t understand why people came for them but not others. I mean to each their own. But i also put my two cents in and also said that if they pick a show i’m not interested in, i’ll just have skip on watching the reactions because i don’t want to get bored while trying to tune in. Will suck to have to do this, but i will just have to wait for the next drama after.

I think the reason you got the replies you got is the criticism you already put in your original comment which comes off as you making it sound like pretty much almost all other suggestions in these comments are not good enough shows suggested by saying, “not necessarily good shows for reacting”. While in the same breath trying to put itaewon class on a pedestal as if you made the best suggestion. Whether you are an entertainment journalist or not, it’s all about the viewer. Regardless of how you feel about a show, it’s not up to you to make statements of whether they should react to whichever shows you choose. Although i see many suggest itaewon class as a reaction, i’m also seeing many people not suggesting it. Which indicates to me that those many who didn’t suggest it don’t really have an interest in them reacting to it either. You can voice your opinion about what you like without putting down others. And what you added after the first line in your comment wasn’t really necessary. They asked for a suggestion, not an opinion. Just know that if you give your opinion on social media, people are going to respond whether you like it or not.

I did not call out a single show suggestion by name, nor did I hop in the comments to tell someone their suggestion sucked specifically, which makes it even weirder that my comment has so many people being defensive. Not to mention there are other comments exactly like mine that have gotten crickets. Are y’all okay? I actually quite enjoyed Taxi Driver and covered it in my work as an entertainment journalist. And while I think it also suffers a few episodes that won’t necessarily make for good “reactions,” I’m looking forward to Tobi and Jeff covering it whenever they decide to. Shows like Taxi driver actually keeps you awake and on edge. It actually gives variety of range in acting by the main actors/actresses along with showcasing storylines based on real life cases that happened in SK. Itaewon class i think gets slow after a bit. I personally got bored through some parts of which i think it would make me lose interest in watching the reactions. But who knows how they would react to it.

The Guest (2018) supernatural/horror, exorcism and shamanism themes. I can see you really liking some of the characters and finding the Korean shamanism interesting. Signal (2016) detective, supernatural, political conspiracy. One of highest cable tv rated kdramas in history. I think it would have you on the edge of your seat and feeling all the drama feels. Jirisan (2021) supernatural, crime, search and rescue. Star studded cast you would def recongize. You might be frustrated at times but I think you would dig the rescue missions. Semantic Error (2022) boys love (BL), short webdrama. Different from what you would normally watch but it's short and arguably the most popular/famous BL of South Korea. I think you would find it funny and if it's your first BL it's a good one to start with.

I think crash landing is a must given you had 49% votes so it wad a close tie with twinkling watermelon- you will enjoy the dynamic of the story and characters- some whom you will be familiar with. Also the ml and fl are a real life married couple who got married after this drama and Kim bum soo who you reacted to sang at their wedding. All in all most kdrama fanatics have definitely watched Cloy as its a not to be missed show with a star studded cast.

there is a kdrama still airing atm (4 eps out) but this could be a nice slow pacing watch because of that. the kdrama is called The Midnight Studio :) this is a very spiritual and supernatural kdrama as the male mc runs a photography studio who connects the dead to their loved ones for a last goodby photo through his business. there is some romance because what's a kdrama without love! i will say this is a very emotional kdrama dealing with loss & grief and heartbreaking goodbyes so be prepared to cry every ep (seriously be prepared because i cried in every ep and there has only been 4 eps out so far so goodluck)

“SKY Castle” has always been one of my favorites. It’s about rich parents who are willing to do ANYTHING to get their kids into prestigious schools. It made me cry a lot and I sympathized with their kids because those parents were so abusive and manipulative. It’s dark, but shines light on the corruption in the education system in SK. I would like to recommend Pyramid Game, a psychological thriller based on a webtoon with a total of 10 episodes. This drama will keep you on the edge every single time and it will leave you asking questions. It's slowly gaining attention right now, i've only seen 2 reactors on youtube reacted to it and they were even asking why there aren't many people tuning into the drama. The main lead is WJSN Bona (real name: Kim Jiyeon), she's one of those idols that can actually act so i'm pretty sure you guys won't be disappointed. Also, IVE Wonyoung's sister Jang DaAh (real name: Jang Jinyoung) is in this drama too and she really surprised most of us with her acting since this drama is her debut drama. Also, one of the cast was from Duty After School, i'm not sure if you guys will recognize her from this drama 😂.
