It hits the nail on the head about what a 'kdrama' really is about. It has everything from action to romance. It's a classic kdrama for the ages! You won't be disappointed! If you like well done kdramas, like Vincenzo & Its Okay to Not Be Okay there's a high chance you'll enjoy this one :) But it's just a suggestion ofc 😊

Nothing comes close for me personally. Mother(2018) At its core, Mother is a drama about a mother-daughter relationship and what motherhood truly means. The acting (including the child actor) is phenomenal, the cinematography is incredible, the soundtrack is chilling and very fitting, and the drama kept me at the edge of my seat the entire way through. I would recommend you watch it cold without any more context than that, because most descriptions of it spoil the first episode. This drama also probably has the best first episode of any show I've watched. The raw and realistic emotions and characters were so powerful. I have yet to find another drama that affected me like that.

A good mix between drama (that will make your jaw drop) but straight up comedy Number #3: Juvenile Justice. Your favorite phrase "she fire" in a nutshell. It's not funny though Number #4: Kingdom. Really cool scenes and refreshing ideas.

So going in the same line of recommending things that fit your vibes. Number #1: Mr.queen. It's so damn funny, most of my friends cried laughing watching it + contrary to Alchemy of souls where it's an historical show but we don't get any explanation, this show is like Korean history for beginners. It explains everything so it's easy to follow.
