2023-11-01 05:13:48 +0000 UTCOne of the Japanese "Info for public disclosure" screens that isn't translated on the bluray mentions that the Paradis scouts are using new ODM gear based on Kenny's squad (that made "Anti-Personnel ODM" gear specialized for human to human combat). Though one cool detail is that Levi rocks the original ODM gear for killing titans (with the swords), because he's Levi of course.

Gabi literally fantasied about killing the “island devils” who did nothing to her but now wanna act shocked that they’re getting they lick back☠️ idc how brainwashed they are gabi, Reiner, the other warriors and Marley will never be the victims in this war against paradis that they started themselves.

2023-11-01 02:17:48 +0000 UTCMore on perspective, the brilliance of the animation here was Eren being portrayed so monstrously (his closeup with two different eyes) as well as the soldiers on ODM, same way as the titans on season 1 seemed so omnipotent. And Paradis soldiers are almost fearless dealing with Titans this season not just because their skills improved but because Titans aren't such a mystery anymore. Like with any fear/phobia, lack of knowledge makes fear more powerful.
