You're right, they did. And now I'm wondering why they never mentioned it lol

2023-10-21 09:17:07 +0000 UTCThe ending...one of the reasons I wouldn't have recommended this one to you even though I overall liked it. I like that it turned out that he killed them all but I don't like that we had to have a flashback viewing of it and it was in slow motion. Also now he's mentally gone.

2023-10-17 20:03:53 +0000 UTCPeople who have watched Hannibal (the series) know that Jungwoo (protagonist) and Moonjo (main villian) are just Will and Hannibal from another universe. There's a lot of things the subtitles messed up. For example the extent of Moonjo's obsession with Jungwoo, he kept calling him "dear/love" the whole series, but Moonjo's infatuation with Jungwoo comes from the fact that he saw himself in the protagonist and in the end he was right, because he managed to unleash the protagonist's darker side. The show is obviously not for everyone, but I love it because kdramas tend to make their characters almost super human to the point where it comes across as exaggerated and ridiculous to me (but maybe that's why people love kdramas, I personally don't enjoy most). If this was any other kdrama I think the protagonist would've beaten the villain since the beginning, the fact that he struggled so much witn everything (social situations, economic problems, relationships, his own mind, not being physically super stronge, etc.) makes it feel more real to me and I love it. By the way: I suggest you guys watch the movie "Unlocked" on Netflix where the main dude is the protagonist as well. The movie is not directly related to the series, but there's a lot of theories surrounding "Unlocked " and "Strangers from hell", if you watch it you'll se why. And you'll probably enjoy it more that the show I think (it was in Netflix most watched for some time). Anyway, thanks for reacting. I literally just joined just to watch this lol

2023-10-16 00:40:59 +0000 UTCTo put it no one really knows if he did or did not because they never showed it, but it’s still very evident that Moon-Jo could be alive because he was shown at the hospital where officer hwa had spotted him and sure it could’ve been PTSD but doesn’t it seem a little to weird that they would emphasize him still being there even after he was supposedly killed, even where the scene where she was in her car like someone was there or someone was watching her from afar. They actually did find the other bodies because they explained how they were killed and the tactic of them being killed wasn’t professional but instead very sloppy and amateur like. But overall this is a psychological horror and it could be so that it’s just really trying to play mind games on the viewers perspective to really see how they would put it together and to have you constantly thinking about “what if” you know?

2023-10-14 16:12:40 +0000 UTCI would just like to share to you guys that in some kdrama series, there is like a little teaser for the next ep at the end of the credits, just wanted to share cuz most watchers usually skip to these parts 😅 but it would be fun to see some sneak peaks Btw really glad you enjoyed the series. Strangers from Hell was a good drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The pacing was fast and the characters were well-written. The ending could lead to so many possibilities. Maybe a season 2?

2023-10-14 11:59:07 +0000 UTCI think what I loved most about this drama is how they used high angle shots. You could notice that they use this angle whenever the characters are in the residence which they perceive as “hell”, and it makes the viewers feel like they’re looking down on hell The twins and the dentist guy creeped me out the most. especially the twin that laughs a lot, he is not really all that scary but I still think he is creepy and unpredictable. sort of like someone your not really afraid of but you still wouldn't want to be anywhere near him. Ms. Um is definitely the scariest character mostly cause of how friendly she appears to be, she can easily gain the trust of almost anyone which makes her very dangerous. The story is so well written, really memorable and unique characters , great cinematography and the acting .. definitely the best part of the show This drama is a straight 10/10 for me. It is quite different from every kdrama out there

2023-10-14 05:56:55 +0000 UTCNot sure what the comment above is about, but they never said they didn’t find his body. In fact, the cops said they were all gone. And they never make mention that this killer Seo Moon-Jo is missing or on the loose. Listen to the news story Ji-eun’s colleagues are watching. They specifically list Seo, the twins, and the other two as having met 25 years prior and carried out murders together. Narratively, it makes sense that he killed his as we saw, leading to Moon-jo calling him his greatest creation. I think the point of them thinking they see him (just as the main character did the more he sunk into madness) was to show the effect(s) the events had on them. The theme (and Korean name for the show) is “hell is other people.”

2023-10-14 02:28:23 +0000 UTCGuys, would you consider watching Save Me (2017)? Both Save Me and Strangers from Hell are written by the same screenwriters. It is also a thriller kdrama. It is about a young girl and her family who got involved in some religious cult who hides dark secrets. It only has 16 episodes and the first few episodes are quite heavy, some disturbing scenes but the female lead was badass. overall it is a very good drama, highly recommended. I think it's available on Netflix for some countries Also it would be nice if you check out, NCT 127 just released their 5th Album, 'Fact Check'. Hope you could react to it too. The song and the album is a BOP.

2023-10-14 01:36:47 +0000 UTCall i can say about this show was it was interesting like no other word to use 😂 and him going crazy and ending up being the killer wasn't as shocking as the show tried to make it seem for me, i mean mans was going crazy/ pretty much under mental/psychological control due to fear for the longest. the dentist knew as he was doing holding the girlfriend there 100% having her "captive" there gave him more of a push over the edge to him finally fully loosing it.

2023-10-13 23:21:07 +0000 UTCWell to explain this since I’ve watched this show more than three times In the clip where Joon-woo was fighting with the moon-Jo (the dentist), he was imagining it happening and that’s why his girlfriend had looked concerned but never said anything about it (probably because she still cared). The detectives had said they never found his body or where he was located so therefore they just closed the case, the other reason why the cop had saw him at the hospital is because he was still alive but she thought she was imagining things. (I’ll explain anything else if I forgot something.) A lot of people like to deny the fact he’s alive but it’s just evident in the show that he is which is why they never found his body or where he was cause he was in hiding. The only reason he appeared in front of the boarding house when Joon-woo was in the ambulance was because they didn’t know who he was and therefore was not taken in.
