If there is no to be continued they are most likely trying to show you something. The scenery shown in my opinion kind of helps you be a little less confused at the beginning of S4. It's not just flashbacks of past episode moments they are showing you. There are scenes and visuals to help understand what's coming next.

I had a hard time remembering all those names, seriously. each one of thems visuals a bit changed and the new characters... and sometimes they're calling them with family name instead of first name.. I mean it's probably just me, but I thought it would be good extra tip for you guys..
