Added 2023-10-04 13:05:41 +0000 UTCAfter re-watching this episode, we understand a little bit more. It was a lot to take in the first time. Dont kill us in the comments lol
If you guys have insight or want to share something that is not a spoiler, to help us understand even more...THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

2023-10-14 06:05:16 +0000 UTCY’all did great, I promise. You guys picked up on more than you know. You both are VERY perceptive. Trust me. You have heard the name “ZEKE” before. Go back to either Episode 13, 14 or 15. Then go back to Episode 18 (Ep - MIDNIGHT SUN) It would be before the fight over the syringe for Armin or Erwin. There’s an exchange with Eren before Levi shows up. It’s close to the beginning of that episode. Listen carefully to that conversation.

2023-10-05 00:07:25 +0000 UTCYou guys did very great job I lost my concentration from like 5 minutes after the video started, when Grisha dad took out the book and start explaining. It's like basically a different perspective about Eldian race (that has ability to turn into a titan). Eldian believes that their very first human/titan called Yumir had brought all the good thing and worked for a humanity but the other race believes Eldian is a evil race, sinners.

2023-10-04 22:14:50 +0000 UTCExactly right. No one knows the full truth . The nation clings to its story of Ymir being a servant of the devil & uses it as justification for the horrific treatment of its Eldian population. On the flip-side, the restorationists cling to the belief that their Founder was a benevolent miracle worker. What is clear is that there is hatred , discrimination, & subhuman treatment of an entire group of people based on the sins of the past.

2023-10-04 20:53:52 +0000 UTCeveryone was just as confused when they watched this episode dw lmao. it's okay because the more you watch the more you understand. The comments can help too I feel like most of them are careful with spoilers.

2023-10-04 18:57:55 +0000 UTCI hope no one actually comes after you in the comments coz... it's totally normal to be confused here. There wasn't an intro to the new setting and people - it all just got pushed into your laps 😅 Also, it wasn't just the Smiling Titan (Grisha's ex-wife) that was a familiar face here. We've seen at least some of the other titans, too 👀 you might have remembered on your rewatch so i'll leave it at that haha

2023-10-04 16:28:59 +0000 UTCBe careful cause It kinda feels like a spoiler if you gave em hints, let em find out on their own

2023-10-04 15:03:25 +0000 UTCPeople hype up 16-18 & then don’t warn people about THE most important episodes of the series. 😂 Basically According to Legend/Propaganda spread by the country of Marley: 2000 years ago, the Eldian Ancestor name Ymir Fritz became the first Titan Shifter when she made a deal with the devil. After she died her power was split into Nine recurring Titan Powers that were passed down to her descendants. (Founder, Beast, Female, Colossal, …. So on & so forth.) The Eldians (Subjects of Ymir) used the power of the 9 to conquer the world & became the Eldian empire. 1700 years later, war erupts between the 9 Titans. The nation of Marley uses this war between the Titans to somehow overthrow the Eldian empire & bring 7 of the 9 Titans under its control & forces the Eldian King (The Founding Titan) & a large number his people to flee to the island of Paradis. Fritz & Reiss are the same family. The Eldian King 100 years ago retreated to Paradise Island with his people, erected wall Maria , Rose, & Sina , & then wiped their memory. The mindless Titans that have been sent to the island & wander outside the walls are Eldians that were punished by Marley. They share the same blood as the people & characters we know that live inside the walls. The Titan shifters (The Beast, The Female, The Colossal , etc) are Eldian warriors brainwashed & devoted to Marley that believe the people living on the island inside the walls are a race of devils that must be wiped out for the sins of their ancestors.

2023-10-04 14:37:05 +0000 UTCNot a spoiler: Rewind to minute 13.02. Just watch. Look at that composition, soldiers, horse...and... And then, seeing The Owl turning (and saving Grisha). There are no spoilers, it's just connecting dots of info that you already have. It's funny, some things look so "in your face", to not say obvious, and the story just unravels itself right there and then. (When you pay close attention or re-watch calmly). Proves how it's a beautifully written manga/anime, or any good piece of entertainment written like that. Dots like: when they showed the map with the little island and "those circles" in the middle, and then the rest of the land/world. And then you just think about all the past season's plot and world-building. Dots like you when recognizing the blond lady, etc. Maybe you just get so overwhelmed reacting and plotting to understand that you forget to actually watch sometimes. I noticed that when you were watching the first ep of Moving too, seemed like you were not watching, just (most of the time) already plotting with the nits and bits of info and creating questions to understand, which just leads to frustration and gets the real message just pass right in front of your eyes. When I'm confused I embrace my confusion I just watch and try to pay more attention, even if it does not work I know the questions will get answered, you know too so...Enjoy the ride boys 😅. Glad you gave it a second watch (I think it's also easier with no camera in your face). Ready for the next post!!

2023-10-04 14:34:14 +0000 UTCOh I really wish you noticed!!😭😂 I don’t think it’s a spoiler to tell you that Zeke’s name was mentioned in S3E15. Don’t tell them guys, let them see it😂

2023-10-04 13:43:00 +0000 UTCGuys if you get confused and don’t know what’s going on. It’s best not to put conclusions in your head Bc then that’s what confuses you more 😭 I learned that the hard way lol. It’s best to just sit back and pay attention and just listen Bc all will be explained. And I’m glad you guys rewatch it to actually pay attention and not miss things.

2023-10-04 13:38:19 +0000 UTCI can’t believe you guys realized Dina was the titan that ate erens mom before they revealed her pure titan form!!!!
Abby Rodriguez
2023-10-04 13:35:42 +0000 UTCBtw the bald titan with the big beard is the one who ate Eren in season one
Portal_Paw
2023-10-04 13:26:33 +0000 UTCTotally ok to be confused for these episodes. Like you said it’s a lot of information. Little Easter egg, some of Grishas comrades that got turned into titans make an appearance in season 1. Like the Santa Claus looking Titan that ate eren. You can see them in their human forms in this episode.

2023-10-04 13:26:07 +0000 UTCYay! thank you guys for one more episode!
