Are you going to make eren live a life like me? I think that's what he meant. I don't think he knew about transferring titan power and stuff

Like someone who has “main character energy”. He always thought he was a special person just to find out he’s a background character. In his mind Grisha is a special person because he came out of nowhere saved the town from a deadly disease and married the girl Keith likes, just like an important character would. Meanwhile Keith isn’t a good commander and can’t make progress with the scouts the way he thought he could so he steps down. So when he asks grisha “is your son special like you” he’s not talking about titan power. It’s about him realizing he’s not as important to the story as he thought he was and how much that realization hurt.
