portrait rights are a huge deal in south korea. significantly more so than here. so part of blurring some faces is to abide by the law and avoid fees. but in other cases, especially when talking about idols and bts in particular, there are millions of fans who watch this content so showing the faces of ppl who work closely w them would potentially end in an invasion of privacy or even danger (like stalking). for bts, the company always blurs producers, hair/makeup staff, employees of wherever they are, etc. the times they don't blur are when the episode involves learning from an expert, such as in the pottery class or when cooking with baek jong-won.

Each member designed and named their own character. The collection is called BT21 and Jin ‘s character is white alpaca named RJ. That’s who was on the merch (phone case) Jin gifted RM.

2023-09-15 02:56:51 +0000 UTCAlso idk if you guys realize this (I think Tobi mentioned this a long time ago) but with the editing of Korean reality tv/variety shows , they have a habit of showing everyone’s reaction to something exciting or amazing on camera before they show it to the audience. Another habit is repeating scenes on screen 3+ times , as you saw from the moment with JK’s bottle cap challenge. It’s what’s been in style with Korean editing for a long time , so you guys have to get used to it lol.

Every guest brings their favorite alcoholic beverage. Episodes 1 , 7 , 9 , 12 , 14 , 15 and 18 features a different BTS member hanging out and being interviewed by Suga. They talk about their solo music/albums , life etc. 💜 Each ep. is about 35-40 minutes long.
