Dr.jeager (Eren's dad) was eaten by Eren. you see this in the flashback when Historia and Rodd touch Erens back when he is chained. Hange theorized that a Titan Shifters power is transferred when a mindless titan eats a person with the power of the titans. This is why titans eat, rather than kill.

2023-09-07 21:46:47 +0000 UTCRod Reiss is the true royal blood but I think he might of turned into a weird looking abnormal titan because he licked it instead of injecting it fully. The serum might off not fully entered his body probably turning him into a deformed titan.
