2023-06-26 11:40:10 +0000 UTCThere are a lot of really good 16 episode shows. Most k-dramas are 16 episodes. You only started seeing these 8 episodes shows more since they started collaborating with Netflix. 8 or less episodes is what most Netflix shows have for 1 season so it seems more normal

2023-06-23 14:08:21 +0000 UTCyeah its because these ones feel way more like a movie. normal long shows feel like the average tv shows even the acting/camera work and dialogue is different. its much more like your typical tv show. these short form shows are legit like a long movie.

We all have those moments lol I’m sure others have said but it’s really really easy if you just cut three zeros to do the conversion. It will be in the same ballpark. One mil is one thousand. One hundred mil is one hundred thousand. A bil is a mil. Just for reference for all shows, and for when y’all visit Korea.

2023-06-21 07:20:25 +0000 UTCAt this point, I've seen hundreds of kdramas now, but a lot of the shorter ones have been the most memorable to me because each episode keeps you on your toes since there are fewer episodes to make a story out of and there isn't much filler compared to what you'd see in a typical 16 episode drama. Don't get me wrong, 16 ones are good too but they do such a great job at making shorter dramas that I wish they'd make more like it. It doesn't have to be the standard 16 episode drama to be just as good as an 8 episode or even 12 episode long kdrama. Anyone else feel me?

This is because they filmed this last year and while still filming the show, main girl with short hair during the time got into some accident(DUI) which lead to her being remove from the show and the director/writer had to rewrite and refilm the ending. The director said that main girl character is very important to the storyline (didn't want to change it) which is why they decided to kept her part in but some changes was made for the last two episodes, so just letting you know ahead and the questions you might have in the future.
