You'll see in episodes to come, Vincenzo has a lot of comedic elements. If there was no comedy, the whole thing would just be depressing as hell because some of the topics are hard hitting.

That's what threw me when I first watched this. Super serious and then slapstick lol. No, the tenants are just weird, and not because of Vincenzo. Also, that is where the gold is that's why he wants to destroy it and has no plans of rebuilding. He couldn't care less about the tenants right now.

some random comments: * you're obviously getting tons of comments about this but vincenzo's lead was married to miss moon from the glory in real life! they had met on the set of a different drama and ended up getting married, but then shortly after got divorced. this was his return to mainstream tv after their divorce. he's now married to a british woman who was actually his italian teacher while preparing for the vincenzo role! * zombie dancer guy = the actual choreographer for most of the sweet home monsters! he's famous in korea and was responsible for acting as the lotus monster (the one whose head had been half cut off) in sweet home :) * yes, the fbi-ish guy you saw (with the saddest pout lol) is the old man/young man dog teacher from alchemy of souls! he plays an international security agent, specializing in italian affairs. his dept has always been very quiet (unlike everyone else in the bureau who's always busy with chinese mafia and japanese yakuza etc, so he was so excited to see vincenzo appear in korea!) * i think you might've missed some of this: the hong family (father and daughter) are actually in the middle of a class action law suit for babel pharmaceuticals vs drug test participants. the guy who daughter hong was trying to convince with her money cake = a whistle blower who was testifying that the drug babel was creating was very dangerous and caused multiple people to die of heart failure. but babel is using hush money to shut everyone up. only hong's father is trying to fight for the truth (very david and goliath) * vincenzo was trying to get the tenants to leave the building for a few weeks, so that he could work with mr. cho to get the gold out of the basement without anyone noticing. (why he was trying to be nice to them during that group vote). but babel construction (affiliated with babel pharmaceuticals) is in the process of buying out all of the buildings in that area (by force). vincenzo needs to get the gold out before they tear the building down for obvious reasons lol * woosang = the law firm daughter hong works at, it's the law firm that represents babel corporation and all of its affiliated businesses (pharma, construction, etc) i'm ngl, this drama is a lot to get through LOL so long and not always super action packed. ep 2 esp was not that interesting for me, if i recall. but it gets a lot better a few eps in. i think overall it's a worthwhile story but def a lot of information to keep up with and pay attention to. cinematography is gorgeous though!

if you are interested there is a korean movie called night in paradise ! it has the female lead from this kdrama and really shows her in a different light, it’s kind of brutal and a lot of death/action but if you ever want to watch i defo recommend

Incorrect, some shots in Italy were CGI however he did go to Italy, he did learned Italian, he did filmed there. It is actually where he met his current wife as she was his Italian tutor. So there it’s a mix of CGI and live camera shots that were done beautifully. Btw I know it’s a long show but worth the watch, just be patient it’s all.

I thought they would enjoy It's Okay to Not Be Okay because of how much they loved Extraordinary Woo. it deals with such mature themes and discussions while also having comedy and light-hearted moments. and I saw a lot of people recommending the show, I think it's a crime they haven't watched it yet.

I think their reaction to business proposal has confused a lot of us. For old kdrama fans, business proposal was nothing especial cause we’ve seen that storyline so many times and it was so predictable but these guys enjoyed it even tho it was outside of what they usually like. Even tho I didn’t love Vincenzo I hope they like it cause I don’t want them to lose our trust when it comes to recommendations😭😭 in the future I hope they watch the trailer before starting a show so they at least have an idea of what it’ll be like.

They would love Flower of Evil. Sadly, it almost never gets chosen because it's so underrated and doesn't have a ton of popularity. But it's such a good show. You never get bored.

i have to say it was bothering me so, so much how the Netflix subs completely butchered the italian lines. i'm not italian, but i can understand most of what they're saying, and the subs left out so freaking much lol. like when the guy was screaming at the vineyard, he said `call the fire department`, but they translated `move`. or when the son of the boss was talking to Vincenzo, he said `our father`, but they translated `my father` lol

i agree with you. people keep recommending tons of shows without thinking if they really are worth for reactions or not. the production in this show is crazy, and the main actor is really, really loved, but i can't see why it's the most requested show, personally.

I don't know why people are complaining about the length of the show because AOS is an even longer show, and I didn't really like the show that much personally. I don't think I have fast forwarded any show more than AOS, especially the first part. However, Vincenzo goes by pretty fast. Yes, I agree it could have been 16 episodes instead of 20 but the plot is not so complex that one must lose brain cells to understand all the components of the show. It's an easy watch. And who said they have to react to one episode per week They might enjoy the show so much that they might do a few episodes per week. Only time will tell.

I’m still hoping they will get on time for Black Knight (I’m not even suggesting it because it looks obviously worthwhile 🤌🏽 I hope they’re paying attention to those upcoming releases. Even the season 2 or 3rd part of the Duty After School is coming next month (hope it saves the drama tho) but yeah so much content out there). Those 19 weeks could be wayyy more useful with shorter dramas but actually their cup of tea.

So the lawyer boss at Wusang law firm is the politician abusive dad on weak hero class and the guy who went to give them an offer he is the drug dealer from weak hero and the infected brother on happiness. So there is a lot of weird characters but that's what makes them unique such as on sweet home except more comedic. So I think y'all got the story but basically their is gold under that building which Vincenzo wants to get out but he would need to blow up the building to basically open up the floor and get it out, he can't do it if people are there and still in the building. Babel is a huge company that is wanting to buy the building at any means as they need that real estate and the tenants there are aware and think that the owner guy with glasses is going to make a deal with them and trying to kick them out that's why they where looking at him weird they don't trust him. The main law firm Wusan works with Babel and from the first scene we see with lawyer daughter she is bribing someone to change their statement because they can't afford to go up against a huge company and put money in the cake that's what she pulls out and in the court its how she wins against her dad. Then we see how they also force people to make deals by threatening them such as the glasses owner to sign the sale of the building. The getting robed at the airport goes to show that anyone who is distracted can be taken advantage even someone like him.

tbh i wish you guys chose something else like 'Flower of Evil' and 'The uncanny counter' both have 16 eps and in my opinion much much better than vincenzo (vincenzo is good don't get me wrong but i believe that they dragged the show too much bc it could've work as 16 eps but they didn't which sucks bc it's too long and there are a lot of filler scenes tbh) also i appreciate you guys checking out and loving kdramas bc that's also the reason why i started watching your reactions for kdramas. there are a lot of amazing kdramas that i want you guys checked but i wish you guys also check out some other shows like 'BEEF' which is not a kdrama but it is a really good show and it stars Steven Yeun aka Glen from TWD

actually you are right, while it is a really good show and the actors, chemistry of everyone is really good. i agree that this kdrama could've been a 16 episode rather than 20. they dragged the show too much and there were a lot of unnecessary scenes tbh. like a filler episodes which is kinda boring that's why i also don't want to recommend this one. but it's their choice after all.

Bruh, chill… there were some complaints on AOS but imo there probably would have been more if they weren’t scared of getting their head bit off for just expressing their likes/dislikes. I had no problem with this show or AOS. I enjoyed watching both. Just that it’s a lot longer than most stuff they’ve done. And we’re still another 6 weeks out for Duty after school. Smh

Was kinda hoping they’d do Black Knight when it comes out in a couple of weeks. The trailer looks so good! I agree. Vincenzo is a decent show. But i got bored after a bit (like after i got to episode 10). It was taking too long to get to the point of it. But it could be because there is alot of dialogue and when there is alot of talking and not enough action, that bores me out a bit.

Although you guys may think there will be a lot of information, it's very easy to understand so try not to worry about that ! Overall, the show revolves around him (Vincenzo), the people in the building, and Babel (the law company). Thus, you'll get to know a lot of their personalities! In all, the story is about Vincenzo trying to get the gold beneath the building and there will be a bunch of side missions that he does. However, there's always more to the story so get ready for a bumpy ride!!
