Hey guys i think this is my first time commenting ever even though I love all the things you guys post yal are literally the best no doubt... I would like to recommend some based on true tory Korean movies to kind of get a feel of what is happening during certain times in Korea I think you guys would really enjoy the movies. THIS IS THE LIST! 1.) HAN-GONG JU is about a school girl getting sexually assaulted by over 30 school boys and she is having a hard time trying to state her case and that hr getting abused ever happen. 2.) SILENCED is about a school with kids are hearing-impared and they are getting abused and sexually abused by the grown ups at the school and the new teacher found out about and they are doing whatever they can to get the kids out the schools. 3.)MEMORIES OF MURDERS is about a crazed serial killer killing all woman and the cops trying to hunt him down etc.... watch these for now if you guys have time and ill recommend more sometime.

The TV shows I mentioned aren't J-dramas. They're produced by American productions. They're just Japan related, as in dealing with ninja, dealing with Japan's medieval period, dealing with the yakuza. These are all critically praised shows in American media. These aren't being watched by or created for Japanese audience.

Japanese TV isn’t as good. What makes the japanese dramas so bad is that, the acting, it’s so unnatural that you start to ask youself “is this really a professional work?” not believable at all. I can’t cry, or feel happy if the acting doesn’t feel real. It seems that the casting is related to how popular someone is and not how good as an actor/actress. Search for any major production and you will see that half of them are part of a boyband or something like that, no talent at all.

I highly recommend Demon Slayer as your next Anime , it’s so famous pretty sure you’ve heard of it , it’s one of top3 anime of all time for me , a lot recommended jujutsu kaisen but i really think it’s better to watch it later , imo it’s complicated even more than aot , and I believe you need something more simple as a break + there is tons of spoilers for jjk in the meantime so i don’t think it’s good idea to be introduced to the show for now

Hi, I recommend a fairly new drama called "Worst of Evil" that has really similar vibes to My Name (even more intense, in my opinion). It is about a detective who is chosen to go undercover as a thug in a powerful drug gang in Korea. However, his relationship with his wife and his morality start to struggle as he goes deeper into the crime world. It's a shorter drama with only 12 episodes and stars the policeman in Squid Game. So, this suggestion is a long shot and unlikely to happen but I'm going to make it anyway. I would love it if you reacted to the Chinese fantasy drama Lost You Forever. I usually drop Chinese fantasy dramas like hot potatoes but this one was genuinely great in terms of plot, characters, acting, cinematography, music... and I think it is a great drama to react to especially since it's a completely different vibe than what you've been watching so far.

Another really great show to watch is Black Knight on Netflix. It's an action packed dystopian about deliverymen that has to deliver oxygen to the common people (because clean air is scarce) all while evading thieves. There's also a conspiracy involving the higher ups (I won't get too much into the details of that). It stars Kim Woo-Bin, who is a KOREAN LEGEND, I honestly binged this entire show in one day, that is how good this show is. So, whenever you have the time, just check it out because I'll bet you guys will like it too.

since you guys are marvel fans you guys HAVE TO WATCH MOVING. ITS SOOO SOOO GOOD. It’s about these high school students who have powers and their parents also have powers and they show us the story each kids parent. There’s a lot action but also romance there’s also some bully, assassinations, secret agents, gangs, teen romance, anything you can think of is in this kdrama. It’s really really good definitely one of the best kdrama this year and overall. It’s still airing rn but there are 11 episodes out already and it’s on Disney+.

Please watch Move to Heaven!!! It is only 10 episodes and is on Netflix. It is a very heartfelt, beautiful story about an autistic boy who has to live with his uncle, who he's never met before, after his father passes away. The story follows the growth of their relationship and struggles they go through to bond. The boy's father also left behind his company which the son and uncle now have to run. His father was a trauma cleaner which are people who clean house people have died in. In every episode, the son and uncle go clean a house and in the episode tell the story of the person who dies there. This show teaches you many life lessons every every episode and really opens up your mind about how different everybody's lives are. You will love this amazing, heartwarming Kdrama.

I would like to recommend Big Mouth on Hulu it has to do with a lawyer and getting revenge. The brother of Babel CEO is in the show as well.

You guys should definitely watch d.p. it’s about bullying in the army. It’s 2 seasons the second season was just released yesterday, but it’s a Netflix kdrama so it was all released in one day. Plus each season is 6 episodes long and around 45-55 minutes each ep. It’s really good I 100% recommend you watch it. Plus it’s definitely your guys taste it’s action, funny, deep, and very emotional. Also some Koreans have said that this’s the reality of enlisting in the military and bullying in military. Also one of the main characters was in a ep of woo youngwoo and is in kill boksoon(also recommend), tbh the cast is really really big and there are a lot of familiar faces but mostly in the second season. And it’s not really like anything you seen before but a mix of most of the action kdrama you have seen.

I think coffee prince might be too soon for them. Not only is the filmography very dated (kdramas up to 2010 look like they were filmed in the 90s), but the acting is very over the top. I think it's something they need to work themselves backwards to. A few more cheesy dramas under their belt might help ease them in.

Just noticed when watching youtubers reacting to KPOP that when they really like the music, they're either just dancing and vibing to the music and/or dissecting the lyrics because the lyrics are just *chef's kiss* poetic/relatable. That's when the shamen's acting got so realistic, and Moon's face got confused. Later, Moon cries becuase she notices So hee really came to help her. The paper piece on Yun jin's mom tells it actually is god's intervene, and the god is on Moon's side.

if you guys want a wholesome, refreshing, and funny drama, I recommend Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Its a romcom that takes place in a small seaside town between a dentist and local guy that does random jobs around town. It is one of my top kdramas

I would like to recommend Suspicious Partner. I think you would enjoy this drama. It has mystery, comedy, romance. I really like the cast, there is the grandpa from Business proposal ( I really like him in here too) and I don't think you know the other actors but I might be wrong. Anyway it's a great drama in my opinion and I think you'll enjoy the characters interactions! It has its dark side, but after watching the Glory, I think it would be much more light!!
