Also, kdramas always have a lot of the same actors in each drama. Itβs like everyone knows everyone since Korea is such a small countryππ the secretary in this show is always compared to jungkook and now I canβt unsee it π

2022-11-19 23:38:41 +0000 UTCI highly recommend Shooting stars for you guys. It's also a lighthearted romcom, and it's actually way funnier than BP. Or Strong girl Bong Soon, which is a superhero/romcom flick starring one of the cutest korean actresses alive; and the male lead ain't half bad eitherπ. Also CEO Kang seems like someone who minds his own business, and takes people at face value because he doesn't mess around so assumes other people won't want to waste their time messing around either. It's probably exaggerated for our entertainment but it's probably why he took so long to connect the dots. I'm a bit oblivious like that too so I get it, it's not that I don't care it's just that I genuinely don't notice, like I congratulate my friends on their new glasses or haircut months or even years after they change it lol.

When Jeff yells in Spanish >>> Also, I agree with Tobi....Ha-ri gets on my nerves with that clumsy mess....but I feel like romcoms do that to offset the fact that she's really smart and hard-working....gotta make her be dainty/feminine in some aspect... I think 59:34 was probably my favorite part of this reaction...but in general, this one was one of my least favorite episodes. The scenes in the countryside were way too extra AF....and that fall that the Chairman did was too ridiculous (it's right up there from My Name when Jiwoo shot ol boy and he did that graceful ass fall lol π)...in my rewatch, I promptly skipped over those scenes lol Also, I don't know if you noticed (I thought maybe Tobi did) but the loud ass bougie cousin is from Extraordinary Attorney Woo. She was in the episode with the guy who won the lottery lawsuit, then, wanted to divorce his wife...she was the side chick! And yes, RJ was right....Tae-moo did not know about Ha-ri. I really liked how they set that up. He's very observant and perceptive and (in my words) God has his back. So much random yet coincidental shit kept popping up to show him that something was off. It's like he has the 2's but hasn't added them together to make 4. That happens a lot in my life too, I just start randomly knowing stuff or knowing when people are being deceitful thanks to the signs around me. Though, I agree, bruh definitely should have known...it took him way too long (& a forgotten wallet) to realize it. Also, as a business man...BACKGROUND. ππΎCHECKS.ππΎ! Lastly...I didn't think about it during EAW, but that makeup product they keep showing is really popular here in Asia. In China, they have an esthetic called "glass skin" in which your face is so moisturized that it looks like you have no pores, thus glass skin. Idk what it's made of, but it's pretty much the equivalent of shea/cocoa butter making our melanin pop. β¨
