First, I want to say thank you all so much for all the love in my recent painting! I really enjoyed painting that one so I’m very happy to hear the positive response! 😊🫶

I’m very excited about this month’s print rewards because they’re both fall themes! I will be sharing some work in progress! I’m continuing the fall theme, but it’s featuring an autumn fairy this time!🍂

Here’s the progress of how I painted the fairy! 🧚‍♀️

I find the process of rendering the character first helps me further develop the story in the background.

I want to take reference from classical paintings and how their robes and dresses seem so light and airy! I’m thinking about implementing more autumn leaf motifs in her design.

Here’s what she looks like in the background! I’m very excited to paint the fall foliage since I’m falling in love with a lot of deep oranges and reds lately (I’ve even dyed my hair an auburn colour last weekend) 😝🧡
