Mermay 🧜‍♀️ - Palace Guardian 🏰🌙 - Process (Timelapse Videos)

Hi Patrons! 🤍

Here's my latest mermay! 🏰 I wanted to create something fantastical and magical for this piece! I also wanted to try using some bolder colours! 😊🧡

I've uploaded the timelapse videos of the painting here! The second video is after I brightened the image and changed the saturation in Photoshop, then transferred it to Procreate again. I've been using Procreate a lot to paint these mermaids! I find it's a lot easier to create organic shapes and brushstrokes on Procreate. 🎨

I'm also finding that I've been using fewer layers, so for this piece, I was primarily working on one layer and kept the sparkles and stars separate.

I find this method of painting a lot of fun and experimental. I find it similar to how I would approach acrylic painting which I'm determined to do this month haha! 🧡🧡

The rewards arrived today, so I will be sending the rewards today and tomorrow! 🥰🥰
