I think they're the modern group that's made it the biggest in the American market. Used to listen to a lot of Kpop back in HS... like 2008 era and Big Bang was big back then. I think a lot of ppl would consider them OG. Songs from them like Lies and Haru Haru. They have new things too but those are if you want some early 2000s pop. OH and from an old girl group, After School, their song Bang! They actually learned the drums for it! For newer stuff I second the comment above Mamamoo Hip.

I'm so happy because I've requested these two and I can't believe you guys grant this request... YOU ARE THE BEST!!! A little background about BTS... BTS stands for Bangtan Seonyeondan, korean name for Bulletproof Boys Scouts. They have 7 members composed of 3 rappers and 4 singers and all 7 of them can dance of course. I think I can say that they're the biggest and most successful Asian act / Kpop group right now as they have won over 800 music awards both in local and international. They recently won Artist of The Year in American Music Award and was nominated and recently performed at the Grammy Awards. Their english songs Butter and Dynamite are huge as both singles has reach # 1 in the Billboard charts for several weeks. Their music has a large variety of genre, they do Pop, R&B, Neo Soul, Rap, Dance, Hip hop, Latin Pop, Mellow.. and most of their songs also tackles social issues such as mental health, anti-bullying, women empowerment, social injustices, self-love and self-acceptance. The members themselves also write and produce their own music. Personality wise, they are 7 of the most genuine and humble human beings, they're also goofy and funny hehehe they value their career so much because their journey to the top wasn't easy, they came from a small company that was close to bankruptcy, they literally work their way up to be where they are right now. They love their fans (called the ARMY) so much, that's the reason why they have such a huge fan base.
