Animation Draft | Art Studio Series | Backstage Work

It's me, Marlis. Yay, the weekend is here again!
Weekends are brilliant apart from one thing – they go by so quickly! Hope you make the most of yours and burn off some steam!

Good news! Today we introduce a new section of our posts named Backstage Work. It's devoted to a quick peek at animation drafts and backstage talks about strategically organized chaos and brain storm in our creative process of making videos.
Here is an animation draft. Hope you like it. It's one of 50 videos that will be included in the upcoming animated short film Art Studio. Speaking of which, the animated short film Sugar MOM 2 contains 35 short videos.

Looking ahead, I'd like to say all the beauty of video is achieved due to color correction. Color correction is like magic; any video comes alive with an amazing play of light and intensity of colors that drive home the tone of the project.


Color Correction: What Is This Stuff?

To me, color correction is not just the creation of color harmony within videos, but breathing new life into my creations.
I'm the visual tone setter for animation, observing lighting, texture, movements, and even the emotions that come with each scene.

It is a technical and creative process at the same time; and here you can not do without an expert pair of eyes, lots of practice, and patience. During this process, every 3D animation will be corrected shot by shot. Then their consistency will be checked in sequences and finally as a whole. This is what the magic process of colorful video creation is made up of.

As Zuleyka says this video is in safe (sexy) hands, so you'll enjoy its final result in color very soon.
Well, I can't argue with that because I do everything possible and impossible in the animation creation to feast your eyes. For my own part, I can only add that the final version of the video in color will be released on 5th October for you, guys.
