The newest demo of my game, Love/Saucer?!

Hello!! This is the Demo version of Love/Saucer?!, which includes close to half of Alexa and Murasaki's Routes, and the beginning of Kiwimi's route.

As you can see, it's very unfinished and still needs to go through many revisions and bug fixes, and placeholder art needs to be replaced. This is completely optional, of course, but if you notice any typos, inconsistencies (that aren't obviously for comedic effect), or bugs, feel free to report them to me in either the Twitch Subs or Patreon channels of my Discord server at: Discord.gg/nyanchat
Be sure to show me a screenshot of the scene in question!

I've been working on this game for well over a year now, and while there have been a few periods of time where I dropped it completely due to fatigue or busyness, I think I've put about 300 hours of work into it with scripting, writing and drawing CGs so far. I don't think it's quite that close to being finished yet, as there's still a lot of work left to go, but I feel like the game in its current state can give people a feel for how it'll be when I'm finally done working on the stupid thing. And I'm also just impatient and wanted to show people!!!

The game started out as a bit of an inside joke with my circle of friends and evolved into a bizarre parody of visual novels and harem anime in general. I admit I don't take it super seriously when I'm working on it, and I definitely laugh at my own jokes as I'm typing them, but when you work on something this long even if it's a big joke you can still grow attached to it. It's interesting to me that all the characters essentially started out as archetypal caricatures that existed just for humor reasons but the more I wrote the more I felt a soft spot for them.

I keep finding myself thinking seriously about how the characters would respond in any given situation or wondering which characters people will like the most. I guess even ridiculous comedy needs some kind of seriousness to keep it grounded.

I have each route and all their endings planned and written out in a bullet-ed list, and I'm really excited to bring each story to its conclusion and see people's reactions! It may be poking fun at a lot of silly VN or Anime tropes in the most exaggerated way possible but it comes from a place of love (and a lot of research into the unintentionally hilarious way that H-Scenes are written in many ero-games...I have read a lot of things...Why, Nasu, Why????)

Anyway, I look forward to sharing this game with you all, and later in the future, unleashing this monster I've created onto the unsuspecting wider public. I've been on the grind working on it for days so I could have this new demo version ready and I hope everyone enjoys it in some way!
