My first original song for my album
Added 2015-05-07 04:24:45 +0000 UTCThis song is called "Hey Boy" and it is the result of me wanting to make something goofy but also fun/catchy to listen to. The beat was produced by Starship Princess who I'm collaborating with for most of the album! I made the lyrics and melody and all the other stuff. I've never written my own song with an actual melody and backing track before so this was uncharted territory and a lot of hard work (which is surprising because you'd think a song about farting on someone's head would be easy to do! But I'm a perfectionist so I have to make everything hard) but I'm so happy with the end result and excited to share it with you all. I probably won't release it on Youtube for another week, a few weeks at the most, cause I'm undecided on what to do for the video portion, I don't really want to just have a plain still image cause that's lame..So far I'm shooting for having 5-8 songs on the album and most will probably be covers, but having one done even if it's just a silly one, is really encouraging, cause I didn't think I'd be able to tackle a project this big since I'm working on it alone mostly. I hope you like the song as much as I do, the lyrics are ridiculous but it's close to my heart because it's something original from me. I plan to make other songs with more serious lyrics though :) Thank you for your continued support..
