I was fortunate enough to catch this one in the theater in its final days on the big screen, or rather, just before it blew up thanks to word of mouth, remember, this was before social media folks. Yes I'm old. Needless to say, it completely blew me away and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Scream revived and revolutionized the horror genre, just as SAW and Paranormal Activity would do in the years to come.

So sad im here late, but so glad you got around to this classic. Must watch for any horror fan. Great Horror flick, while being an all-time "straight-face parody". From a Rushmore Horror director, gives so many odes to past horrors, all the way down to the Psycho-ish marketing with DB. (s/o Mama Scream Queen hehe) Also just a cool capsule of that moment in time & culture as well.

Hello, this was my first time watching 'SCREAM' as well. I'm not a 100% scary movie fan, totally would not watch them by myself. This is definitely my favorite horror movie so far. I enjoyed it so much, I like the cheesy parts. Scary and funny? Heck yess, that's going to be my go to since now. Enjoyed watching the movie in this kind of format, makes it a little bit less scary and more fun to watch. Hopefully can watch the sequels with you as well. Thank you!

sooooo, you should definitely watch the whole franchise. the third one is my least favorite and prob will be yours too (it’s the one with most comedy, i think). and the last three ones (4th, 5th and 6th) are the most gory, def more horror than comedy. so i think you should check all of them. and always trying to know who the killer(s) might be is the best

It took longer than two hours, because I couldn’t ignore calls, but killer reaction! And your reaction confirmed what I was kind of thinking or at least hoping: That if you love this, you'll love Happy Death Day! It could have gone either way, so I'm really stoked you enjoyed it. So yes, the janitor was dressed like Freddy Kruger and also played by Wes Craven. This movie was written and directed by Wes Craven. Wes was the creator of A Nightmare on Elm Street as well. He includes several Easter Eggs throughout the film. The call in the opening scene with Drew Barrymore was a throwback to the 1979 Slasher “When a Stranger Calls.” There were many throwbacks and references like this. He also plays on all the classic Horror movie tropes. He cleverly uses Randy played by Jamie Kennedy to teach us how horror movies work! All-in-all a superb slice of the horror movie pie and even better once my favorite horror movie reactor reacted to it. I was in love with Neve Campbell throughout high school because of this movie, and it turned me onto Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy as well. Really a lot of actors including Courtney Cox, David Arquette and even Rose McGowan. And the principal was Fonzie from Happy Days, Henry Winkler. He's in a ton of Adam Sandler movies. I could rant on and on, so I'll end with thank you so much for starting my favorite month, horror movie month, off with such a banger!!!
