The first one is the superior of course and I have a bigger personal connection to it with my social life But I do admit, rewatching it along side you, I think I was too harsh on it initally. There is quite a lot that I liked, the rat scene is a highlight as well as the needle drop during the cornfield scene. The performances are great too. I forgot about the whole numbers station broadcast thing and IF there is a Sinister 3, I would be interested in seeing that explored.
