2023-04-08 05:52:06 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if you've gotten context on Powder yet, but from what I know, it's about having a loved one struggling with substance abuse (primarily a certain powder). The vocal production being muffled is such a cool concept once you pair it with the meaning behind the song imo. Also, a lot of the songs on this album are about her ex, Oliver Tree, specifically Moon Cycle being a jab towards his misogynistic music about women PMSing lol
