You can kinda write this story (Jesse, hector and everyone else) off as it doesn’t really get continued at all in the ghost dimension as it continues 1-4’s story. There isn’t a definitive reason as to why hector was teleported to Katie’s house at that point in time but I believe it’s just to show just what the coven is capable of. These doors they can use to travel to unholy places at whenever and wherever they please within certain power. The reason as why Katie and Kristi were taken is because Kristi will give birth to Hunter and he will be “marked” in utero just as Jesse was (like how his mum was marked by Ana) and Katie is there to collect Hunter. And then in the 4th film she gives him up to the family in the 4th film so he could “mature” just as with why Tobi waited so long to target Jesse. Hope this helps x
