I know we all say the same exact thing every year, BUT I really am determined to make this an incredible year. 😌 We have to help manifest that good energy for ourselves. I do believe that we attract the same energy we put out into the world so... 2023 is gonna be a great year :)
First quick important piece of information:::: I am switching my billing cycle from "Monthly Charge Upfront" to "Subscription". If you've been here a while and usually get charged on the first, it will continue to work that way. But moving forward, starting today, anyone who joins will get charged on the same day of the following month. It should make billing so much less confusing! This link explains it better if you're curious!
Of course I have my own life goals, but I also have some goals for work stuff as well! One of the things I want to work on is restructuring Patreon just a little bit. Nothing crazy! I actually want to get some input from you guys. What do you want to see on Patreon this year? I'm not asking about which artists or concerts or performances. Is there anything new you would like to see here? I'd like to get a little more creative with Patreon if possible. If you guys just want to continue with the exclusive reactions we will totally do that. I just wanted to check in and see if you guys had any other ideas! Especially for she's scared. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to bring more content from that channel here.
I'm also planning on essentially ditching Twitter this year because yeah, I kind of hate it there. My goal is to go back to Discord and make that my go-to for interacting with you all. I just think it's a much better place for all of us to connect without all the extra negativity that Twitter brings. So go hop on over to Discord! If you're on my Patreon, you have special roles in correspondence with your tier level. I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys there :)
I'll check back in for exclusive suggestions soon. I'm just taking the week to really plan and reset and think of new ways to refresh all my content. So again, please let me know if you have any ideas! (not specific artists or anything like that, just general ideas)

Who knows, some viewers (or you) might like our contemporaries' cover instead of the original, or vice versa. For example, Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" which has been covered by Lana Del Rey. Another one, Nirvana's "All Apologies" covered by Lorde. (Apologies for the Nirvana examples, it's just they've influenced so many artists of today, it's difficult for me to escape them) Another one is Radiohead's "No Surprises" covered by Lizzy McAlpine. My two cents. :-) Basically a "Who Covered It Best" segment, to summarize it all. lol. :-)

It was fun watching you react to people reacting to things you love. Id watch you twitch stream and react to chat requests, or more blogs (for some reason the lost fruit snack is one of my fav parts of 5sos reactions?). Or play games with chat like Pictionary. In video -Superlatives "most likely to make Caitlin laugh hysterically... " - either re yourself or in general "best costumed performance". Or your version of an award show with prizes. I've also loved the just chill co-watches you've done-it's good to parasocially hang out and watch stuff to love. I know you said artists later but ... JUKEBOX PLEASE. Maybe ask commenters on patreon for their fav artist or song on a topic and dump all the answers and put them in a jar and pull out a few to watch. (There's a reason I don't have a YouTube channel. Well several, lol). I would also be interested in behind the scenes. I've no clue what you camera set up looks like or how you edit/ what tools you use or how you decide things and I'm a nerd for that.

2023-01-03 01:58:19 +0000 UTCfor patreon, maybe a monthly car vlog where u drive around and listen to your favorite music and just chat a bit ! that would be cool :) or maybe u can pick songs you’ve never played in your car before (but have listened to before) and see what they sound like in your car instead of in your headphones. kinda like a fun lil car test :) for she’s scared, i would love to see u exploring scary places. even if the place isn’t necessarily haunted, i’m a sucker for an abandoned building exploration vlog! if possible, u could bring along a friend or two to explore with. i would also love to see a darker (if possible) and cozier set up for she’s scared (like maybe reactions from your couch or on the floor with some dim lights in the background) just something to switch it up and bring a new atmosphere to she’s scared that separates from your main channel !! of course u don’t have to and the setup u have now is wonderful, but i just wanted to suggest that 💕 and as for the regular patreon exclusive reactions, i would still love to see those !! but instead of asking for new suggestions each month, maybe u can post a poll for things u didn’t get to react to in the previous months that have been suggested for a while. because new things get added to the poll each month that win and the other suggestions sort of get buried to the bottom. it would be really nice if u take things that got a decent amount of votes from previous polls and put them all on a smaller poll together :)💗 happy new year caitlin!! thank u for being so kind and always asking for feedback from us. i’ll see u on discord! 🤍

And since it would be on patreon, you could check out the songs during the video. You could give us a certain theme for the playlist beforehand too, and it would encourage viewers to include songs that are underrated. It would be a cool way to share music and song reactions. Also, you could go through our own playlists and judge our music taste lol

I feel like that would be a great way for everyone to listen to new artists! I’d also love for more discography rankings 💖 Maybe you could do occasional videos listening to the songs in your “Discover Weekly” playlist on Spotify. I always end up loving the songs in that playlist & could be quite interesting 🤍
