The first time I watched this movie was in 2011. It was New Year’s Day morning and my boyfriend (now husband) was sleeping off a hangover. So I watched this in the living room alone and it freaked me out! This remains one of my favorite movies.

Unnerving or unsettling is how I would describe his movies from start to finish! Even Midsommar had a super unsettling vibe to it. And what was weird about that was the whole movie basically takes place in summer daylight!!! Any ways, I would love to see Caitlin's reaction to Hereditary!

2022-12-23 07:56:24 +0000 UTCThe Marked Ones was actually really great! Very few people, even fans of the series, don't usually like PA 5. I'm with you. I enjoyed that it departed from the regular PA trope of putting cameras in a house and catching creepy footage. I loved Hector as comic relief and Jesse as the main character. He really sold the possession. I will say that The Ghost Dimension was the only one I didn't enjoy. To me PA works because you never see the demon. Once you see it, it ruins it. At least for me it did. The genius of Oren Peli was how he could scare the crap out of you without ever showing you any actual monster!

In several of your reviews you've mentioned Found Footage classics like Grave Encounters (classic FF) and Hell House (amazing film though part three was ridiculous) to name a few! Found footage is my favorite Horror subgenre. Was wondering if we were gonna get to see reactions to more found footage! I have a laundry list of amazing found footage films! Since you appreciate the subgenre it'd be great to see a content creator react to more of them. Even if you don't end up reacting to more, thanks for the great reactions thus far! Really enjoy your content!

2022-12-17 19:52:09 +0000 UTCI hope you continue and react to the Paranormal Activity films..well the first 3 at least. And I agree with the comments that you should react to Hereditary. Also with the recommendations for Scream, I was never interested in slasher films at all then I saw Scream and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Was it scary? meh kind of in its own way. Was the writing and directing ahead of its time? absolutely. lol. Hopefully one day you'll give it chance even to watch on your own, no pressure though! :) And if you enjoy found footage films I highly recommend (REC) it is in Spanish so if you don't like having to use subtitles or dubs (imo the actors that provide the voice overs for dubbing are usually terrible) then luckily there's a shot for shot remake in English called Quarantine.
