Okay watching this now and thinking about how one of the judges is now the mother of his son. So weird.

to add: maybe you can start with his EP ‘First Times’ to get an idea of what his music sounds like. it’s only 4 songs and lots of people actually like the EP more than the album

see the thing is LP1 went into an R&B / hip hop direction rather than pop and people didn’t really like that. LP1 isn’t bad people just don’t really like the genre he went with. its actually great and has some really good meaningful songs on there. definitely recommend!

ahh i loved this! theres a whole mini doc a fan put together that goes through their entire x factor process in order and i think it would be so fun to do that here! also some of their x factor performances are just so iconic bc of how cringey they are and have become memes over the years lol

If you're interested in watching other before they were a band stuff, this is Niall literally in line for his xfactor audition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym86mcneirk the quality is bad but like it was 2010

For Liam's solo stuff I think select songs and maybe some live performances. His voice is insane and I think that would be the best way to see stuff. But you should do the Where We Are Tour DVD. That is really good to see each of them sing and you get a whole concert.

Also, if you decide not to react to LP1 you should still definitely react to his solo LIVE performances and a best vocals video. When Zayn left, Liam actually took charge of a majority of those high notes.

If you don’t know Liam actually has a 4yr old son named Bear with one of the judges you see here. Her name is Cheryl she was part of one of the most successful UK girl groups, Girls Aloud. She even had a successful solo career in the UK as well

I remember watching this all live as it aired and literally could not have picked any of these guys out of a line up before they put them together. Except maybe Liam, because I watched the show every year and had seen him 2 years before. By the time the show finished I loved them but was at that awkward age where it wasn't "cool" to love them so I totally missed out on all the 1D hype.

I had never watched them completely before because I was scared it would be too cringy for me. 😅 but it was mostly interesting when you know what happens afterwards. I've seen a lot of Harry's tour right now, his new company, the movies! When you see this kid it is just so insane when you know the amazing person he became.
I love 1D content as well but since it is the 5SOS anniversary, baby 5SOS would also be fun, again in comparison to now.

This was so fun! I'd love to see you maybe do a couple of Liam's solo single performances (or the truly charming Boy Band vs solo artist w James Corden); Liam's singles were good but I don't know that I have any desire to watch the album. I saw Liam live in 2019 and he was actually amazing -- I wish he could figure out the music he connects to and make something great.
In addition to Liam solo, more of the baby xfactor or fetus 5sos clips, but also more 5sos live! There's lots of amazing Michael you haven't seen ;)

i remember watching these episodes live, i think i was 11 lmao, but i agree with Liam and Harry being the best first auditions. Also it could be cool if you do some 5sos cause of the 10 year anniversary thats coming up, you should also watch the podcast if you haven't watched them yet cause it'll catch you up with some stuff you missed over the last few years :)
