I already wish I could watch this movie for the first time again. I can't stop listening to the album and picturing all the incredible visuals from this movie. AHHH, i'm obsessed. Also, I realized during editing, that the "Highschool Sweetheart" did actually go through the door before Crybaby. I was thinking she had stayed behind to be with him which I thought was weird at the time, but now I see! I love how ambiguous the ending was. I want a sequel SO BAD. Ugh, so incredible. And the fact that SHE DIRECTED IT?! talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it. melanie martinez.

I LOVE this theory, it would make so much sense, and something that had me absolutely shook was in her new music video tunnel vision the girl playing the video game at the end is supposed to be crybaby….but like she’s dead so it just made me more confused lol

2021-03-13 20:51:03 +0000 UTCPeople wonder why her dad is alive in Class Fight but if it goes in order for both albums then it would be Crybaby, Wheels on the bus, Dollhouse, Class Fight, and then Sippy cup, so my thoughts were that he was alive at that time, not in ghost form like some people think. But he's dead now. Two things. Is Leo, the principals son, the wolf in Tag, you're it and milk & cookies, AND who is Leo's mother because when you see the picture of Leo and the principal, the mother's face is burnt away... Maybe Leo's mother was cheating with Melanie's dad and they both died in Sippy Cup.

I really love how you've learned to apprecaiate/stan Melanie, especially when so many people listen to her music and are like "oh my god, she's sexualizing children. She makes no sense with her music. Her movie was so weird like what is it even about.. ble ble bleh." I always tell people "Watch her music videos, watch the K-12 film, look up the lyrics, and listen to the song more than just once. It's a concept album. There's a deeper meaning to it all. Use your brain hoe." Lol. I stan Crybaby! She did say she plans on making two more films, so have the popcorn on standby because the story is barely beginning :)
