Themed Poll?

Essentially there has been a trend where vtuber/gatcha game characters are over performing in open polls leading to a feast or famine situation where certain franchises eat very well, with other genres getting neglected.
In my opinion, on one hand, popular characters getting more votes thus winning the poll makes sense and its the natural order so to speak.
On the other hand, it does get very same-y and stagnant very quickly.
As a way to remedy this, I have an idea to thematically split the poll week by week, as a tentative example, something like :
week 1 - anime show characters
week 2 - game characters (no gatcha)
week 3 - gatcha game characters
Repeating monthly and so forth.
Realistically everyone will have their own biases, and it will be impossible to make everyone happy, but this should alleviate the majority of the concerns.
What do you all think??
Note : this will not effect the monthly bonus poll.
