Hey everyone! Here's our full reaction to Animal. This was definitely a crazy movie. Our full thoughts on the film will be released in our review video coming out on our Youtube channel later this week! What did you think of this movie?
We used the Netflix version of this movie with a total runtime of 03:21:18. Please match your copy of the movie to the clips we show at the beginning, middle, and end of the video. There's a skip at 2hrs 41min 47sec into the video. A clip was added so you can match back up with the movie. Let us know if there are any issues.
Thanks for watching!
i think kohrra on netflix is a much better, more realistic and apt representation of father-son childhood trauma from lack of attention and care, this almost justifies all his actions in the name of trauma

regardless of whether you have an open mind towards a flawed character or not, I find this film painful. The writing, character depiction, storyline is all rubbish. Kabir Singh by the same director was 10 fold better.

How come this shows an upload date of March 28 with a comment from 6 days ago? I thought this came out just a few hours ago!

Thanks for the comment! We totally understand your viewpoint of the film and we appreciate the insight. In our review coming soon to our YouTube channel we explain more of why we disliked certain parts of the movie (mainly the plot with Ranvijay and Zoya and some dialogue). We also mention the parts we really liked (the action, awesome soundtrack, cinematography etc).

Hey guys so i watched your full reaction and just wanted to share a few things- 1) Movie’s name is Animal. The main character was meant to act like an animal. It wasnt a conventional hero vs villain story but rather an animal vs animal. 2) We werent neccessarily meant to root for the character. He was meant to be a monster especially as the film progresses and the end scene does it for me where they explain why he does what he does i.e parental neglect and childhood trauma. 3) You might have felt some scenes were romanticized but i believe the music reflects the mood of the character rather than neccessarily “romanticizing” it just like in gehraaiyan they were songs of love & passion during cheating scenes. Also the character does not get what he wants at the end i.e his father dies and wife leaves him. Conclusion- Sorry i wrote a lot but kindly take this into consideration before the review. Also you guys interpreted a lot of things quite well cheers 🍻
