Various Miscellaneous Tests Feb-Mar.
Added 2021-03-29 05:03:06 +0000 UTCHere are various miscellaneous tests I did over the two months. I wrote some random notes below if you want to read explaining each render set. Honestly, my thoughts are all over the place so feel free to skip reading and just look at the renders. :)
Boss fight was my attempt at making a bigger fighting scene. Which proved to be tougher than I thought. It's slower to move the camera around and pose figures. I think it comes down to optimizing the scene in order for posing everything to go smoothly. Found out that heavily using smoothing modifier and high geometry causes slow down from this scene experimentation. For now, I'll leave out bigger scenes until I have more experience how to handle them. Plus, it takes a lot more time to pose each character carefully throughout the scene. And depending on the situation, simulating the clothing drapery takes time.
I have this female clone trooper idea I would like to do in the future when I have some free time or a big inspiration to do it. There's a female Booba Fett lol.
Then there are some game characters I quickly tested from Shinteo. It's amazing that he's been able to crank out so many characters to be used inside of Daz. There are some issues with the converted assets, but for the most part, they are usable, and it's really cool to get popular game characters inside of Daz. I'm tweaking some of the characters to fit my taste.
There's an inverted nipple morph I created, but far from what I would like it to be. Gonna need to polish that up and level up my sculpting abilities.
K-Pop is super popular eyyy?! I was big into it back then too, but I kinda stop listening to those songs. It holds a close part to my heart though. In the K-Pop skinsuit, I was just trying to see how far I can push what I learned about skinsuits and have a better understanding of it. And that leads to the weird skinsuit opening. That was fun to do in Marvelous Designer.
Starfire and Friends were more testings of Shinteo's converted characters. I try to use the default G8F face if I could because it lets me control facial expressions. Some of the converts have a whole new head when I'm not comfortable with yet. (That's why you see Raven's head is the default G8F and Andriod 18 is a regular G8F face too. And Cortana's head from the other set lol)
Tomb Queen was a random render run I wanted to do of a possession scene. And it was fun to test new clothing.
And lastly, there are some renders of the Victoria 8.1 that were released a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty cool, but I barely understanding G8F so I'll master this figure first.
